Summary: Our family loved being Exuma and LOVED our time at Bahamas Island House! We loved the layout for our family and the comforts of home provided. The kitchen was definitely outfitted for our breakfasts and several dinners we cooked at the house. It was a fun kitchen to cook in looking out at the gorgeous view. We enjoyed the spacious family room seating for movie nights and afternoon naps after being in the sun. Beds and linens were comfortable and we don’t take that for granted…..no one wants to sleep poorly on vacation. The laundry room (so crucial at the beach) was so nicely appointed and had high capacity washer and dryer. The house also had soft sided coolers we could use for beach days, plenty of snorkel gear, life vests, and portable umbrellas. All of these things were awesome to have and not have to travel with, Every question we had was answered immediately and suggestions on activities were sent and spot on! We loved having the kayaks to explore and loved our day at The Cut and Lazy River….super accessible via kayak from this house which is a major plus! Our kids loved fishing from the dock and observing Exuma ocean life right at our back door. This trip goes down in the books as a top favorite for our family and we will be sure to pass along to friends who want to come. We hope to be back soon! Bahamas Island House was the perfect home away from home!!

Summary: Beautiful home and super well equipped. Kitchen has absolutely everything you need. House has kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear which was perfect. Rent a boat and explore! House owner was extremely responsive and had great suggestions for dinners, outings and all questions. Bring baby oil for the noseeums which can be annoying. Bring lettuce to feed the turtles and grapes for iguanas! Dena’s Donuts is a great personal chef and caterer - most amazing dinners (and of course donuts). Really perfectly situated by beautiful beaches and restaurants. Enjoy!

Summary: We had the best time in the perfect house. The owner was awesome in providing rental car info, excursions and any other info we requested. Property manager was very attentive to any request we had. The house is set up with most everything you need and the pool is the perfect spot to lounge after a full day. It’s set up with plenty of lounge chairs also. The beach area is perfect for your own private little beach and also to set off in the 8 plus kayaks located on the property. A kayak trip under the bridge to The Cut and the lazy River are a must. Overall we had a great trip and would definitely return to Exuma and this wonderful house.

Summary: Great place to stay with older active kids that like to kayak and fish. House was nicely remodeled. Deck pool area very nice. Owner communicated during our stay about weather alerts and street flooding. Property manager helpful with questions.

Summary: We rented this beautifully remodeled home in Litte Exuma for nine days. The house was well supplied with top notch towels, appliances, utensils, comfortable furniture, central air and was very quiet. The pool was spectacular and the only downside was the bugs because of mangroves. Beautiful views from open living area and deck. We were fortunate that the home was on the smaller island as we discovered the most beautiful beaches were located there. These beaches are unspoiled with only a small amount of residential development. Pretty Molly and Tropic of Cancer were our favorites. Each has a fine rustic Bahamian restaurant nearby that comes in handy after a morning of swimming and sunbathing. It was our good fortune that the home was minutes away. The home is situated on the bay side of the island adjacent to the best bone fishing flats on the island. Our guide could simply pick us up in his flats boat from the newly constructed dock. Our children would enjoy the small but dazzling pool on the deck above the dock, sometimes swimming several times a day. As dining out is very expensive on the island, we enjoyed cooking in the state of the art kitchen, complete with new first rate appliances. Although the bath rooms were small jack and Jill configurations, they were adequate. Exhausted after many hours of play we slept comfortably on the fine new beds.

Summary: Highly recommend staying here. We had a great time staying at this property. The floor to ceiling windows that show the beautiful views as you walk in is breathtaking. Everything you need is provided if we had any questions Jack and team were always readily available to assist. If you’re looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is the place for you.

Summary: This home is newly furnished and has literally everything you could need. You can tell that the hosts thoughtfully put all new pots, pans, knives, dishes etc for their guest's comfort. The kitchen is beyond well equipped, the linens and towels are new and the furniture is comfortable! We traveled with our kids and my inlaws and we all had enough room and privacy, it was great! The house was very, very clean which was greatly appreciated. The view is beautiful and its a pleasure to wake up here each morning. You'll love the house, just be sure to double check location that its not too quiet for you as Little Exuma is only pure rest and relaxation! We would definitely love to return again to this beautiful home.

Summary: Jack and his team were excellent to work with. They are very responsive and we staying in communication throughout the trip. The house is made to entertain and host! Its a chef's kitchen with excellent amenities you will not expect in most VRBO locations. The property is mint and will be a relaxing place to stay. We even cooked at the house one night due to how nice the cooking setup was for us. Very quite and peaceful location for sure!
