Bedrooms:
Upstairs has 2 bedrooms. Master is a King Bed and 2nd is a Queen room.
Downstairs has 3 custom bedrooms.
2 are Bunk Bedrooms; Double over Queen Beds.
1 is a loft bed ( Entire 9 feet across the room) made with a King and Twin bed.
All beds have mattress covers since new..

Summary: We had an amazing multi-generational family vacation at Mark’s place. Stunning views of the Ottawa River, plenty of equipment for fun activities (kayaking, etc.) and lots to do within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed the adjacent private sandy beach, which is maintained by the very welcoming neighbours and has a lily pad for the kids. One drawback (reason for 4 stars rather than 5) was that we had to clean some aspects of the property before we could get settled in (bathrooms, kitchen sink, surfaces, bed sheets). That said, it didn’t majorly affect our trip, and I would book here again! Thanks Mark.

Summary: Great property for the family! The kids loved the beach area. The house is as described and large enough for the nine of us. Mark was a excellent host and very responsive for requests. When arriving we did have a minor issue with google maps and the exact location but Mark quickly called us and gave instructions. There are lots of amenities; we mostly used the kayaks and canoe as it is a great waterfront property. I will note that there was lots of mosquitos (so bring spray) and some patches of poison ivy near the zipline/kayak stand. Lastly, there is a firepit area that was perfect for bonfires at night. The Family had a fun trip!

Summary: A beautiful lake house on the Ottawa river, with stunning sunrises viewed from the spacious, glass railing deck. A secluded shallow beach with access to many water activities…kayak, canoe, paddle board, row boat and beach chairs. Also, many other activities to enjoy. We were a multigenerational family and there was everything needed to have an enjoyable vacation. Mark was available and responsive to our questions. We hope to visit again.

Summary: Pros: Beautiful and secluded beach with no rocks and clear water, lilypad for use and beach chairs, paddleboard and canoe, tons of activities for kids (zip line, kids toys and books), renovated mainfloor, beautiful deck, owner is responsive Cons: We drove 5 hours to this cottage because we expected it to be 3 floors (listing references main floor and upper floor however it is a bungalow with basement), and central AC throughout however there is only window AC in 2 bedrooms. The main rain can get very warm as there are no window coverings. The basement is partly finished, the ceiling is exposed and the bunk beds are close to the ceiling wasn't ideal for sleeping and made it uncomfortable for guests. The floors were dirty upon arrival and we had to spend time cleaning, I would recommend a new vacuum as the dirt comes out of the canister, dirty BBQ and kettle. Overall we had a great week

Summary: Sunrise, sunset, all day long the view was beautiful! Everything you could imagine to make everyone's vacation enjoyable. Big kids and little kids loved the canoe, kayak, row boat, paddle boards, fishing, fires and more. My favorite was hanging at the beach (private and sandy). The grandkids had a blast! Cottage was like a home away from home.

Summary: This is a simply wonderful place to spend a cottage vacation. Perfect for multi-generational family vacations. Everything was exactly as described with some lovely surprises. The sand beach was enjoyed by all, the downstairs family room a delight to do crafts, play board games, put together puzzles while watching the hockey playoffs in HD! The wall to wall to ceiling windows, the glass deck railings and two levels of inviting deck and patio brought the fabulous scenery into every moment of our week. Star and moon gazing on clear evenings was also glorious, including the most amazing full moon rising one night. We encountered absolutely no issues and our host was extremely responsive and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful week! Edna & family.

Summary: Mark is an excellent host. Very thoughtful and keen to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and that the property was given a deep clean in these COVID-19 times. Our family had a lovely stay - meals ouside every day, lots of time on the beach and lots of space for all. Super views from the deck over the Ottawa River.
