Beautiful 4 season 4-bedroom 3-bathroom waterfront cottage, sleep 11 adults and one infant/toddler. This private and quiet 1.6-acre cottage no neighbor in one side and surrounded by woods in other sider and has large open area for families to enjoy the days and nights, and a playground for kids as well. It locates only 90 minutes west of Ottawa and 20 minutes of Pembroke, which you can find almost everything you could need, local stores, LCBO, restaurants etc. This cottage has both central air conditioning and heating, as well as a wood fireplace to make your stays extra cozy. You will enjoy graceful water view, mountain view and bay view from windows and dock.
With installed Starlink high speed internet in 100+Mbps, providing you unlimited internet surfing and work from the cottage.
Great for fishing, swimming, boating and other water activities.
Other outdoor activities nearby including Hiking/Cycling/ATV/Snowmobile trails, Golf club, Esprit Whitewater Rafting, Chute Coulonge park and a private runed ski resort.

This cottage has 2 pedal boats (4 seat and 5 seat), 2 kayaks,1 canoe, and 1 Jon fishing boat ( trolling motor for extra fees or bring yours ), some life jackets.
Off the dock, after 10 minutes paddling to the left, there's a beautiful sandy beach. Kids will love to play there.
Guest can access the cottage through the front door where have step-free entrance and can use the back door deck in lower level to enter and exit the home, the firepit and playground in the right side of the home with firewood storage shed.
There is a big new deck just down to stairs and a dock on the shoreline, in addition a step-free path to get to water for wheelchair and walker.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this gem of a home. The owners were helpful and responsive and made check in and check out easy. The three stories in the house ensure that everyone has their own space. The full kitchen has all of the essentials and extras. Everything you need is provided - they thought of everything! The owners even left fishing equipment out after learning my sons wanted to fish. The water out the back is only a few steps away and so peaceful. We caught fish off the dock as well. There are plenty of games provided to keep the whole family enjoying the trip. We enjoyed waking up to stunning views and returning to the peaceful setting at night. This is a lovely home that made our trip and we hope to return soon! Many thanks to the sweet owners who take great care of this home and allowed us to enjoy it.

Summary: Excellent cottage, clean with lots of amenities and space. Easy check in/check out. Nice stretch of the river. Easily slept 8.

Summary: Very comfortable especially with three bathrooms. Might want to check on the dishwasher as it leaked one night due to a blockage of pumpkin seeds. Bottom tray is quite difficult to slide in and out. Excellent fishing. Thank you.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was as listed no surprises, and great communication. Just be prepared it is a hike up and down to the water. But the fishing was great. We brought kayaks and used them along with the peddle boats. Very quite place we basically had the river to ourselves. Only thing needed are some fans for the other two bedrooms upstairs.

Summary: We were there for a family reunion during the winter break. Nice waterfront location with a wonderful quiet bay views by the ottawa river, looks more like a lake. The cottage is basic but had everything we needed. There were some toys and books for the kids. We enjoyed the indoor wood stove in the basement and the outdoor firepit. Nan was a very friendly and responsive host with suggestions and answers to our questions. He and his family helped shovel and push our car after it got stuck in the snow during the holidays. We would recommend using a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you plan to visit this cottage during winter due to the steep driveway. Pembroke is 20 min away for all needs with restaurants and a large grocery store. We went ice skating there and drove about 1 hr to Calabogie ski resort as Mont Chilly was not open for the season yet. Overall it was a nice vacation. I imagine it is even better in the summer and the fall!

Summary: We celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. It was everything that was pictured but better. We had a fire outside in fire pit with 10 of us and a dog. We cosied the following night in downstairs with stove. Lots of room. Beautiful area to explore. We will book again. Thanks Nan

Summary: It was very nice vacation for us and our friends. The property is located at water front. The lake is very nice. If you love boating and water sports, you would love this property (boats are provided by the host). There are a couple of nice parks nearby, and some good trails. The host Nan was very helpful to our stay by giving us good suggestions. She always replied to me immediately when I asked her questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We had a really great stay at this cottage. The cottage was great with lots of space for our family of 5. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and high quality sheets and towels . The internet and WIFI were excellent with a signal that even covered the dock. Paddle boats and canoe were great. The owners provided free firewood as well. Cottage property is very private with no cottages on the one side. Lots of steps to the water. Beach only 5min paddle away. Town with all you’ll need only 20mins away.

Summary: Where do we begin? The listing was complete and almost does not reflect the gem this place is. It is clean, roomy and very well equipped. We have to comment on the linens and towels as they are quality as you would find in a fine hotel. We were a family of five with a small dog and we had plenty of space and could of even brought up the in-laws! The hosts were great at communicating and answering questions during our stay. We felt right at home with the comfy couches and well equipped kitchen. We had a few really hot days and appreciated the beach nearby to cool off and the air conditioning. The fire pit area was great and located in just the right spot. The kids loved the little play structure and ample chipmunks and salamanders under rocks :) one thing of note is that the property is quite high above the water and it is a walk to get to and from the water. It was made easy with a great set of stairs to get you there and back safely. For those with mobility issues it could be a problem getting to the water. There is a service path that could be used in that case possibly. With that said once at the water you are greeted with a ton of options to enjoy the water. There is a couple of paddle boats, canoe or even a 12” John boat (bring your own motor). We had success catching four different species of fish off the dock and lounged in the Muskoka chairs. Our 9 days were not long enough and the family is asking to go back already. We even were inspired and painted several paintings while there. Thanks for the great memories and it’s on the list for us to return!
