Positive: The scenery was beautiful, amazing views of countryside . Animals right outside your accommodation, lovely to be up close to nature. Lots of space for children to run free. Value for money with accommodation, but if booking for 6 then the price on here is only for 4 people so you will need to pay extra. We stayed in lookout cabin, its one big room, fine for us as we were all female and family, but there isn't much privacy. It was like camping but inside a barn with some quirky decor. Having a fire pit in the evening and the animals coming to join us was a treat, a fun experience and we made the best of it as we always do. Some great memories of feeding the lambs and watching them play and frolic about carefree. Would be perfect for a family with children to stay.
Negative: We did enjoy it and made the best of it. Very basic accommodation, not suitable for disabled or those who have difficulty walking. One big room accommodation. No sink in the bathroom so have to wash hands in kitchen sink. Take plenty of warm clothes/ blankets if staying in cooler months.

Positive: It was fabulous! A lot of thought was put in on the style of the place and the comfort. Morag really gave our stay such a personal touch. I had my 14, 12 and 11 year old stay with us and they had such fun and freedom. She had waited for us to arrive so we could feed the baby lambs, chickens and pigs and was great at explaining to the kids about the animals The views were wonderful to wake up to So lovely to have been left tea, hot chocolate (with a container full of marshmallows) and coffee too I would definitely come back
Negative: My only suggestion would be for some cupboards of shelves in the kitchen area to store our food and drinks but it’s not a problem I probably took too much for a few days stay

Positive: We hired both barns and had a lovely stay with the family, such a beautiful location with amazing views. A perfect place to bring kids with lots of space to play, they loved meeting all the animals, especially the piglet which they got to hold and feed, it made their stay! Morag was very helpful and friendly, hopefully we'll be back in the summer

Positive: The property was immaculate, it Was very well furnished, it was local to the supermarket, the host couldn’t have been anymore helpful, giving us a tour and helping us start the log pit fire. We got to cook marshmallows at night, feed the animals the following day and even go out in the canoe

Positive: Very friendly and lovely settings. The kids loved the animals and the firepit. The beds were very comfy. Would be a great cabin for family stay or girlie weekend.
Negative: Just be aware that it is one big room so no privacy - not an issue for us as family.

Positive: This quite something, this place! It's very much a decorated shed on a farm, but what decoration, what a shed :) The beds were comfy and inviting, and while cooking facilities were basic we enjoyed a lovely meal. We arrived late so didn't get to enjoy all the farm had to offer, and a summer-time visit would be smashing instead of our hurried stop on a long road journey. Morag and Pip were very welcoming.
Negative: Just be aware that behind the glamour the facilities are pretty basic: you're staying in a tarted-up shed, with cold water and a stove top. The generator in the next field was noticeable once night fell, and might bother some people expecting all twinkly starlight and bleating lambs. I've lived on a farm so know what to expect - they are busy places.
