Situated in amongst an amazing private garden setting this property is hugely unique, not only with its proximity to Clyde, Alexandra, and many Central Otago bike trails, including direct access to the Central Otago Rail Trail, and wonderful local eateries, but also its special ambience set amongst 8 acres of well established garden. There is a large macrocarpa maze and two aviaries to explore, as well as an abundance and variety of flowers and trees to navigate around. An idyllic and relaxing pool is available for guests to use between the months of November and April, an area ideal for unwinding after a days exploring, or a private deck, with barbecue, ideal to soak up the last of the sun's rays.
The house comfortably caters for eight people and contains one large lounge with an open fire, as well as an open plan kitchen and living area with another fireplace, both areas being very suitable to enjoy the summer or winter months.
The historical township of Clyde, offering numerous dining out opportunities and bespoke shopping, is only 5 minutes drive away, or 15 minutes along the Rail Trail. Alexandra is also only 5 minutes drive, Cromwell 25 minutes, and Wanaka and Queenstown one hour away.
This property is part of an events centre and there are many quirky and exciting aspects to it. The owners are continually around maintaining the site. The swimming pool is available for guests to use between sunrise and sunset, and is occasionally used by family members as well.
