Beautiful new country retreat with 4 generous bedrooms set on 80 acres in the gorgeous granite belt less than 10 minutes from town. Get away from it all and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the beautiful Stanthorpe sunset on the large verandah. Then retreat to the wood burning fire inside and the smell of a slow roasted dinner from the chef's kitchen. Perfect for families or for groups of friends looking to escape for a weekend or for a longer stay.

This large country homestead includes:

Other things to note:
**Please note that as this property is on 90 acres access is via a dirt road and driveway approx 1 km long.
**Please also note that the first section of our driveway is on our neighbours’ land so please limit speed to 10 kms/hour and be mindful of noise and dust.
Please be mindful that this is a country area so we are on tank water and have a grey water system. Conserving water where possible is much appreciated, please use grey water friendly kitchen and laundry detergent and please refrain from flushing objects down toilets.

Summary: A bit of a drive out of town, however great for a quiet escape. Will be back next year to use the fire pit as unfortunately rain got us this time.

Summary: Sarah and Lees' Newly Built Country Homestead far exceeded our expectations. My family and I had a wonderful four-night visit over Christmas 2024.The property and homestead were as described. Sarah was great to communicate with and her written instructions were easy to follow.The homestead was very clean and comfortable. The constant cool breeze and lack of insects were unexpected… a wonderful bonus, given the time of year. Therefore sitting on the verandah and or making full use of the excellent garden chairs was almost a full-time activity for all.The only matters not so good were the dishwasher didn't work properly and a pair of pedestal lamps in the lounge/dining area would be welcome (the overhead downlights are very bright...).Overall...4.9 / 5. Thank you, Sarah and Lee.I am pleased to highly recommend Sarah and Lees' Newly Built Country Homestead for a short or long-term visit.Reg T

Summary: This is a lovely property, with good quality fixtures and fittings. The lead picture of the property shows deck furniture that is much better than the actual deck furniture. The property had clearly been cleaned, but only superficially and, when moving beds to make them after the first night, it was quite dirty behind and between the beds and the wall, and the cooking area needed a better clean before cooking. The host is wonderful and very helpful and the setting and area are lovely.

Summary: We took our kids and parents for a week in Stanthorpe and LOVED it. The house is huge, modern, comfortable, with everything you need.
