4 Bedroom Cottage in Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton

The Retreat Cottage is in a serene and quiet area of Palmetto Bluff. It is adjacent to the Wilson Lawn and Racquet Club. It is a short walk to RT'S Market and The Canoe Club Pool and Fitness Center in the village. It has 1 King master ensuite downstairs and 2 king masters bedrooms which share a very large bathroom upstairs. The 4th bedroom has 2 queen beds and an ensuite bathroom. There is a lovely screened in porch with a fireplace and comfy outdoor furniture.
There is also a dining area on the screened in porch for al fresco dining and a gas grill. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. There is a dining room next to the kitchen which seats 6 people. A fireplace flanks the great room for the cooler nights at Palmetto Bluff. The bedrooms have wonderful artwork and very comfortable beds.
There is also a well equipped kitchen with bar area which has 4 stools.
This cottage is in a great place to be able to quickly get to the pools, exercise facilities, RT's market and the Resort. Stroll to the Village and enjoy the views overlooking the May River. There are several great restaurants to choose from to eat all three meals.
There is a very nice yard and a very large screened in porch with a fireplace which can be used through out the year.
When you rent this cottage there is May River Golf Access.
This home also has a pull out couch in the great room.
This home is located nearby RT'S market and Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club with tennis, pickleball, basketball, bocce ball and croquet.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving week. House was just as described. The house had everything we needed for our family of six. Location was perfect. Close to everything. Beautiful back porch with fireplace and a big backyard the kids enjoyed. I recommend this house and would rent again. Communication very good.

Summary: This was our fourth VRBO rental in Palmetto Bluff in the past 18 months and this house was quite lovely. Everything was new and fresh and the open first level floor plan was really nice. The decor across everything was great! There were a few simple amenities we missed like lotion in the bathrooms, salt and pepper and portable drinkwear/cups, and the screened in porch is not as inviting as other set ups we have had. We also missed not having a golf cart included with the house. Nonetheless, we would rent this property again without hesitation. It was beautiful.

Summary: The house was well equipped and comfortable. Nice location. Only comment is that the bathroom for the upstairs bedrooms is a jack and Jill. This was not in clear in the photos or description. Was expecting 3 en suite bathrooms. We made it work but thought other renters might want to know ahead of time.

Summary: Perfect stay in Palmetto cottage! Midway between Hilton Head and Savannah so easy access to enjoy here and there. The photos are spot on. The landscaping throughout the entire property is picturesque. All amenities are as described. Low key or on the go....this cottage has it all. Breakfast on the patio is so peaceful you will want to while away the morning.

Summary: Very surprising - home was run down, bare minimums, old furnishings, dirty air vents and sagging mattress in the master. That about says it all. Way overpriced for what you’re getting.

Summary: We visited this property for a long weekend with friends and enjoyed every minute. This was our first time renting VRBO at Palmetto Bluff. It was great and will certainly do it again. The location was perfect, able to enjoy all of the resort amenities with ease. The host was very responsive and helpful in addressing our questions and requests. Can't wait to go back!

Summary: My family and I had the most wonderful vacation in this beautiful and perfectly located home in the center of Palmetto Bluff’s Wilson Village. This cottage is perfectly located near every amenity that you could possibly need to include restaurants, live entertainment, a food market, tennis, golf, pickle ball, walking/biking paths, pools, and shopping. Our family had the most memorable visit and we look forward to returning for another beautiful vacation very soon!
