This cozy cabin is 50 feet from the beautiful lakeshore of the Minong Flowage. Enjoy all the North Woods have to offer in this year-round cabin on the Minong Flowage with 110 feet of sandy bottom lakefront. Engage in many activities this area has to offer including boating, swimming, water skiing, tubing, fishing, hunting, hiking, or ride ATVs/Snowmobiles on the extensive ATV/ snowmobile trail system.
Bring your boat and park at the dock right on the property. The Minong Flowage is a 1587 acre lake located in Washburn and Douglas Counties. It has a maximum depth of 21 feet. You will have access to the lake from public boat landings located very close to the property. Fish in the lake include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. Boating destinations on the lake include sand island, Totagatic County park, Seaman's Resort, View Point lodge, or Pogo's Harbor Inn. This recreational lake is a regional favorite for boating, water skiing, and tubing.
Bring your ATVs or Snowmobiles to utilize the extensive public trail system in the area. Drive your machines directly from the property to the trail. For more information on the trail system, see Minong Trails website.
The western views make for a great sunset view from anywhere on the property. Watch the sun set from the deck, fire pit, log swing, dock, or from inside the cabin from all the large wall to wall windows facing the lake.
This cabin has been completely remodeled featuring all modern amenities. Everything is clean and brand-new. The kitchen has been newly modernized with large full-sized fridge, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, new cabinets, and large farm sink.
The new bathroom features all new tile, rain shower, cabinets, and full sized washer and dryer.
There are 2 bedrooms. One with a queen bed, and one with a Queen and 2 bunks. A sleeper sofa with queen bed is also incuded in the living room.
The living room has western facing views of the lake and includes all new furniture and TV. Wifi is included, so bring your passwords and watch your favorite app/ Netflix, Hulu, from the 60 inch Smart TV.
In case of a rainy day, head into town and check out the new Jack Links Aquatic and Activity center.
This property is located 12 minutes from the town of Minong, 36 minutes from Hayward, WI, 1 hour from Duluth/Superior, and approx. 2 hours 15 minutes from the Twin Cities.

Summary: Great location, very clean house with a wonderful kitchen, large bathroom and comfortable beds. Loved being so close to the water and swimming with a sandy bottom (no weeds!!). Bring your boat and enjoy the flowage! Excellent communication from the host - would definitely stay here again in the future! You will not be disappointed!

Summary: Spent some special times with two of our grandchildren. We enjoyed kayaking in the lake, hiking trails to waterfalls in two state parks, drive to Superior to see the iron ore boats at port in Lake Superior, playing board games in the evenings, cooking foil dinners in the grill on the patio, and just laughing and making memories together!

Summary: We were staying in the area to ski the Birkiebeiner in Hayward this past weekend. The house we stayed in (we were calling it "the cabin") was clean, cozy, and modern and the wifi worked without fail. We cooked many meals--all the kitchen appliances are new and the cabinets were stocked with plenty of dishes, drinkware, pots and pans, etc. The bathroom was large and had a great shower! We even did some laundry. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and envisioned hanging out at this property during the summer months, too! Thanks for the great weekend!
