Summary: Comfortable clean beds, beautiful scenery all around, private and secluded. Well stocked. Plenty of clean towels and supplies. Bugs still and issue inside and outside the house, and pool dirty and unkept.

Summary: I think this has the potential to be a great large family gathering place but there are a lot of things that need to be worked on before that happens. Pros: The house was clean and there were no bugs. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the basketball hoop right off the kitchen area. Great wrap around deck. Lots of games and books and a large TV with apps to sign into (Netflix, Disney+). Large living room and eating areas. Plenty of plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans- you won’t need to bring ANY of those items. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Cons: There were several outlets that did not work, both upstairs and downstairs. The WiFi password they give you in the email is incorrect- use the one on the pamphlet near the lamp in the living room. Not even the Vacasa agents could help us with that. The grounds were unkept, grass not mowed, and driveway is TERRIBLE and desperately needs to be grated. The pool was NOT functional despite Vacasa assuring me it would be when I contacted them several days prior to the event. The person who came out to look at the outlets also promised some sort of complimentary gift card to an local attraction but we never got them. Be prepared with garbage bags, dishwasher soap, paper towels, laundry soap, and toilet paper. They provide a “starter pack” but if you have 10 people in the house, and during the day we had more, that goes quickly. We did NOT know this and were unprepared.

Summary: We reserved the house specifically for the pool so the kids could play. I checked to make sure nothing stated the pool would be closed. We get to the house and 4 excited boys ran to the pool to find a sign saying “closed”. When we tried to contact owners/managers no one was any help and it took an extended period of time to even get a response. The response was simply “we don’t know if it’s ready and we don’t know if it can be ready.” The next day without any prior warning there is a woman and two teenagers outside working around the pool. No one called us or made us aware someone would be on the property where we have 4 children playing. When they left late that evening they left lights on doors open and the pool dirty and open. Communication was extremely poor. Also, the kitchen faucet is not installed correctly so when you try to use it the entire thing moves. The home is in need of repairs. Maintenance has been neglected. The internet password we received was also incorrect and there is poor cell service so Wi-Fi is necessary. Oh and the wasps. The outdoor furniture and deck had wasps. Two boys got stung.

Summary: Upon entry we were met by 100’s, maybe even 1000’s of quiet housewarming guests. They were everywhere, seeming to watch your every move. Not just one here and there, the floor was covered with bugs so when you walk around you can’t avoid the crunching of them under your feet. This is a fantastic place to stay if your an entomologist and enjoy the study of box Elder bugs, with ample opportunity to add to a private collection. These guests were quiet, I must say, and they seemed to want to be with you at all times. They enjoyed the large and bright dining area and kitchen. So much that you had to brush them from your plate, off your shoulder and out of your hair at times. You will never feel lonely at this location. They join you in the luxury shower watching you with that eery look from the walls, ceiling and shower head. It is a nice house, lots of room for a group with a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. The living area invites you in to relax on the plush furniture, carry on a great conversation with your loved ones or take in a movie on the large TV. But the comfortable invite ends there. After you’ve spent your first hour stepping on and killing bugs, you spend your next precious moments sweeping them up. They aren’t as bad in the bedrooms but even with keeping our bags zipped up tight and closed the whole stay we managed to unpack some at home! After the excruciating and exhausting extermination endeavor, I was ready to enjoy a movie and watch some TV…
