Summary: Basement in someone’s home. A long way to the door from the street, no lights until the end of the pathway. Stairs down to the entry door. Horrible smell upon entering… a combo of plug in fragrance and some other very strong/bad smell. Lots of floor noise from upstairs…running dogs? Kids? We only really spent nights here. Beds were comfortable & place was very clean, however, I would not recommend & Would not stay here again.

Summary: The space was amazing! If I had a question about something, the owners were very quick with responses. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and they provided complimentary waters and orange juice as well! The furniture was nice and it gave us a great area to talk, catch up, and enjoy our weekend. We were in town for a concert, so we did not spend the day in the rental, however, at night we had privacy and could really enjoy each others company. I wouldn’t say this is a complaint per se, but the sofa in the mains area did have a mouth ball type smell, which I do understand as it covers up odors very well and is a great way to keep the place smelling fresh. It’s just not a smell we liked or were expecting. Even with that, I would absolutely stay again and if you are in that area and are looking for a solid rental, this would be the one. The neighborhood was really nice safe and secure as well. We parked on the street and did not have to worry about our vehicle at all. I cannot recommend them more!

Summary: The apartment was very clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with coffee and supplies. We are not used to staying in a basement apt with the owners on top so this was a surprise as it was not advertised as a basement apartment.

Summary: Let me start by saying it worked for our stay but caught us off guard. We are used to having access to the full property without the owner being onsite. In our experience and conversations with VRBO support this property would not be defined as not a VRBO due to the shared space. What we found was that the listing does not tell you that you are renting out the basement of a home and there are amenities listed that we did not find at the property. We have visited many VRBO’s and it is always the entire property. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but it did not have AC or Heat control, so you were at the mercy of the homeowner for the temperature in the apartment. It was in the 50’s at night and the rooms were still hot during the night although the ceiling fans helped. The beds were comfortable, and the property welcomed pets, which was a plus for our stay. Parking is in front of the home in a cul-de-sac and while the neighborhood was quiet and safe, I would worry about blocking driveways or having to park in front of a neighbor’s home if you have more than two cars. The access from the side yard, although not hard to navigate, was mainly grass and dirt and we were constantly cleaning up the entry. In conclusion, while this was not our cup of tea it was clean, comfortable, and worked for our visit.
