Terri Smith and Jeff Zemanek had a vision to create a small boutique hotel allowing guest to experience the best of Historic Newport.
The Newport Inn is located at 634 Monmouth St close to restaurants, family activities, great views, nightlife, sporting events (20-minute walk for a ballgame), river fronts in Newport and downtown Cincinnati. You’ll love the ambiance, the people, the outdoors space, the lively neighborhood. Make sure to check out Newport on the Levee with live music, comedy clubs, and a world class aquarium. Seasonal Ghost Tours, as well as Gangster Tours will give you a historic perspective of this quaint town!

This particular suite is great for two couples to explore the city and nightlife, or for families taking in games, the aquarium, tours, and more!
This 900 sqft, second floor suite is a 2 BR (King Serta i-Comfort beds) with a non-working fireplace in each, and a large walk-in shower. Located just a few blocks from the Ohio River, we are located right in the heart of the historic district in a beautiful turn of the century building. If you would also like to experience the big city, a walk or carriage ride to downtown Cincinnati creates a whole new dimension. The end result is a luxurious stay, which combines the best of both worlds. Jeff's career led him to spending many nights in hotels and not always satisfied by what he found. When we decided to build an inn, there were criteria which had to be met: 1. Great beds! 2. Great shower! 3. Variety of pillows! 4. Peace and quiet! 5. Free Wi-Fi! 6. HD TVs with HD signal! 7. Outside area to relax! 8. A full kitchen to make it feel like home! Lastly, a friendly staff who is there to help with recommendations or whatever is needed to make it a special stay!!

Summary: We booked last minute because of our busy schedule. It it was worth the wait and last minute timeline. They are so fast at communication and I had not submitted the request and they had already begin to respond. The place was perfect, clean, and has a beautiful view of the shops below. Beautiful porch if you are a work from home person. I will be back several times. :)

Summary: This is our 3rd time at the newport inn, we enjoyed the brewery and BBQ across the alley, walking up and down mammoth st. and binge watching some of our favorite shows! We absolutely love this cozy place and plan to be back soon. Oh and the property owners are absolutely amazing!

Summary: This was a fun and unique property. Love that it was located above Urban Chic and loved being able to walk to Cincy easily. The place was well-furnished and clean with everything we needed for our stay. The only issue was we weren’t as comfortable with the location in the later hours. We did enjoy our stay overall and it was a great value.

Summary: The room was very cozy but on the second floor with pretty steep stairs. Everything was provided in the rooms that were needed. Easy walking distance to the levee and plenty of eating options.
