Positive: The quiet location, wonderful hosts and so close to many Wairarapa experiences.
Negative: Separate fridge/cooking facility but that was remedied by the hosts.

Positive: Everything. Room was beautiful, clean, comfortable. Amazing linen curtains. Hosts were lovely, territory was beautiful- we found out a lot about vineyard. Loved it. Thank you Peter and Karen!!!

Positive: I love the location close to the Ruamahanga River. Our hosts allowed us a late check-out which gave me time to pop down to the river and catch a number of trout on the fly rod before our departure. We enjoyed walking around the garden, tasting some of the wines and learning more about recent vintages and characteristics the region for wines.
Negative: We weren't sure we had the right driveway initially as the 'open' flag for tastings wasn't out. It was only a minor issue, and we couldn't go too far wrong.
Summary: Very pleasant sojourn.

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Very large, stylish and comfortable room with French doors right into some beautiful gardens to relax in. We loved sitting out having the delicious breakfast in the garden and enjoying the hot tub. We also did a wine tasting up in the Tower, which was a lovely experience and the wines were delicious. Karen also went above and beyond for us when our taxi to the wedding we were attending didn't show up! (Dont book with Masterton Taxis haha). She is a lovely person and wonderful host. I wish we could have had more time there!
