The open plan living area offers amazing untouched views of the Sound and with comfortable couches, there is a spot for everyone to kick their feet up and relax after long days exploring. The bedrooms are spacious and have big windows that let plenty of natural light in.
For winter stays, the home is equipped with a potbelly fireplace and wood supplies that is bound to keep all members of your group or family warm.
The home is just a 22 minute drive from the nearest township of Havelock, where you can find restaurants and cafes for those looking for their caffeine fix. The home is also just a 40 minute drive from Piction for those venturing from the ferry terminal.

Boat access is available on the reserve next door to the property at high tide. Note there are very large tides in this area and boat launching at low tide can be very difficult. There is a 2 tonne mooring available with the property.There is a mooring available to guests. Mooring number 593 with the surname NEAL painted on. It is almost in line with the boat access on the reserve. As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.Guests should note that his property has limited water supply so water conservation is advised at all times.Please note cell phone reception may be limited due to the location of the property. As the deck barrier is below 1 metre high, all guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls.Guests should bring their own Nespresso compatible pods to make use of the available machine.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. Summary: Fantastic location and property. Everything you need in a sounds stay! Thanks heaps for having us. Only downside was the dirty dishes, dirty floor and the filter water just a dribble. But the house is excellent!

Summary: Lovely little bach, all good sized bedrooms. We were kept nice and warm with the fire. Kids loved going out on the kayaks round the bay. There were a fair number of spiders webs and the spiders, but hey, it's a bach that sometimes is empty. All in all we really enjoyed our stay

Summary: Having owned a property for 30 years in Moetapu Bay Rd which was recently sold, we were missing our Sounds experience so much that we decided to rent Ngaire's Haven to experience our happy place again. We were not disappointed and loved the close proximity to the ocean with good boat access and swimming. Facilities were great, beds very comfortable and indoor/outdoor living was lovely. We shall return.

Summary: Amazing 2 night stay with some friends. Beautiful location, even though it poured most of the time. Perfect excuse to stay indoors. Lovely warm house with everything you need. Great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, lovely fire with plenty of dry fire wood. Lots of games and DVD’s to keep us entertained. Will definitely go back.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the property as it’s in a beautiful and a quiet location. The house was well set up for a nice stay. However, we only had a very limited wood supply that was wet/rotten and were not offered a reasonable resolution for heating the living area when contacting the manager. We also felt the fees for the service, linen and cleaning were excessive.
