Positive: Just up the crater! What a beautiful night here! Really suggestive in the night! Very big bathroom and comfortable room! Warm restaurant with good food and evening exhibition of maori people! Breakfast also delicious! Perfect lobby and open space area to enjoy the view with a coffee or drinks! There is also a binoculars to see the animals just under the crater. Stay here is something i will remember for all my life and i will come back on time !!!

Positive: This property is beautifully located on the edge of the crater, my room had a magnificent view with a spectacular sunrise. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well suited to a solo traveler.

Negative: The food is cheap, they charge extra for water (2 glasses of cheap wine and a bottle of water 18$) and alcohol. The room was full of ants and other flying insects. We changed rooms cause they were all over biting us. And this happened after we went for dinner and someone actually went to the room and prepared the room for the night. That means they didn’t check the room at all. When we left they asked me about our stay and the manager was shocked, he didn’t even knew about the incident. Not worth to pay this money ever for this hotel. In Africa try small hotels and camps please. People are amazing and food is top. They take so much care of you. In the big hotels we had bad experience everywhere. I wouldn’t pay more than £200 a night here ever. My room was at then end £1050 for 2 nights from £975. Exchange rate I think so. For me everything was overpriced in Africa. Is still Africa not London where I live. In Dubai for £500 a night you get a 5 star hotel with a nice view and top food and amazing service. Thank you!
