Summary: The room was always well-maintained. I was impressed to refill water by myself to reduce the disposal of PET bottles. It is a good measure for our environment! The facility in our room was a little bit old. Sometimes, I was confused about using the equipment. I couldn't find an explanation in the room, However, the hotel staff kindly gave advice how to use it. The location is near the tram station. it enables to access measure visiting point easier.

Summary: The Niles Hotel has a terrific staff. It is located just 3 blocks from the tram station, therefore, making it very easy to get to the main sites in Istanbul. Additionally, the entrance to the Grand Bazaar is just a 5 minute walk. The rooms are basic, but fine. The bed was a bit low for me, but overall okay. The breakfasts were fine. We stayed for a full week, and will certainly return on any future trip to Istanbul.

Summary: It’s a small hotel in a great location near the tram stop which is very convenient to get around to see a lot of the main sites. Wonderful staff, very friendly and welcoming.

Summary: We were really lucky to come across this hotel. Initially, we were attracted by cost and location. But the hotel was so much better than we had anticipated. Partly through our interactions with hotel personnel, who were wonderful, but mostly on the basis of the sheer charm of the hotel. A lovely room, attractive lounges for relaxation, an excellent breakfast. Nowadays many hotels tend to be on the overly functional side--indeed, drab. The Niles, on the other hand, was a lovely experience. The only negative I might mention is that the street it is on is very narrow--especially for cars and trucks that need to get about--and that it's a bit of an uphill climb until you get to the main street, which is a stone's throw away from the Grand Bazaar and the excellent tram system. When we return to Istanbul, this hotel will be our first choice.

Summary: Niles is good hotel and the price is great. The standard rooms are a little small for two people. It’s in an excellent location. 4 min walk from the grand bazaar and 20 min walk from other great touristy attractions. The breakfast was great and had gluten free options. I would stay here again

Summary: We arrived at this hotel very late, and the area at night seemed a little sketchy. However, the hotel felt safe and the attendant welcomed us with a warm apple tea and a turkish delight/sweet, which was very nice and welcoming since it was very cold outside. The staff member also gave us some activity brochures and told us the grand bazaar was about five-minutes away walking. The location is great for that, but the other main tourist attractions are about 15-20 minutes walking. The room was in good condition, but the walls were very thin, and you could hear noise from the rooms next door, as well as what sounded like furniture being moved from the floor above us.
