Positive: The business is a family run business- family Nina and Themis are extremely kind, educated and helpful and as polite and caring as angels. Any request was immediately met and responded by passion. I am Persian and have plenty of Greek friends and love them all and travel to Greece a lot and the way I was treated was like I am going to one of them ! Clean with amazing design on beds, close to a great beach :)

Positive: Nina’s house has all you need for a great stay at Skiathos. It’s very clean, and we loved all the facilities that were offered in the room. The terrace is amazing and you can take sun umbrellas for the beach that is 1 minute away. Its also close to the town with the bus and close to the rest of the island as well. The staff is great and helpful regarding anything you need, we would definitely recommend to everyone!!

Positive: The property was fantastic. It had beautiful gardens, spacious layout and all the kitchen appliances needed for self-catering. We have a toddler, and Nina’s house went over and above to cater to this with cot and highchair, child’s cups and plates as well as some additional toys. Upon arrival we received an amazing welcome package, with some nice treats and basic items to start your stay. Such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. There is a great beach is a short walk from the house, which has loads of loungers and a few nice restaurants. Another thing to mention was that a second apartment was arranged by Themis for us to keep our luggage and freshen up in before our flight, as we had a late afternoon departure. This was the cherry on top! 🍒

Negative: Only downside is the property is located on a busy road so if you’re sitting outside, it can be noisy. That said, once inside and doors are closed you cannot hear anything so it’s very well insulated.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Nina’s house, Thermis and Nina were excellent hosts. We hope to return soon!

Positive: Extremely clean and cozy place to stay. We used a king studio for three - spacious, modern and furnished with care. Comfortable beds, continuous change of towels. The kitchen has everything you need, even a Nespresso coffee machine. Nice outdoor space/terrace, surrounded by beautiful plants. The location is close to the city. There are several markets and taverns nearby. The beach is 1 min away - extremely beautiful, as are the other beaches further south where there are many sea food restaurants (Sklithri is worth a visit). We have been visiting different parts of Greece for more than 15 years, but this is the best accommodation so far, so we highly recommend Nina's House to everyone who is looking for a quiet, beautiful and unforgettable summer vacation.

Positive: the location is excellent. It is located in the middle of the bus route length, so it's very easy to get to the Skiathos town and airport, as well as the famous beaches on the southern part of the island. There is a nice beach right across the road from the apartments. It's also pretty close to two different markets, a few restaurants, and the bus stop. Nina was super kind and welcoming, she even brought us gifts on the day of the checkout and was very helpful every time we needed anything.

Negative: the only thing that was a bit unpleasant was the noise from the traffic. Our otherwise lovely terrace was on the side of the house that is oriented towards the road so it was quite noisy, since this is the main road leading to the southern part of the island.

Summary: We loved staying at Nina's house!

Positive: The room was very spacious even when the couch was open. The furniture was new and the decoration was very nice. the balcony was also very nice with nice furniture. The host was very helpful. Parking was possible outside the room. There is a super market within walking distance, a nice local grill restaurant and the beach is just some steps away. The location is ideal to visit all the beaches of the island and also to go to Skiathos for dinner. When we got the room there was also a basket with products to make breakfast and we also got a nice gift when leaving.

Negative: - The cleanliness was bad. When we got into the room it was not very clean so we have to waste time on cleaning (just for example, we could find berry seeds half eaten from previous guests in the kitchen, the fridge was dirty, the toilet also etc). The bedsheets had also spots. During our stay, they did not clean well either. - The cleaning lady did not restock our toilet paper. We bought once ourselves and asked for it twice to the host. One time we had to use kitchen paper. - The bathroom was getting full of water every time we showered. We complained that the drain needed to be cleaned but nothing changed. On top of that the small towel in front of the bathtub was getting wet and the cleaning lady did not change it for the whole 10 days that we stayed there. In fact she was just hanging it out to dry every day next to the clean clothes that I had on the rack! - The air-conditioning had a weird smell every time we turned it on but the room had a nice temperature and we could sleep with it off. - The room does not have window shutters so you had to keep the glass doors closed to sleep as our room was on ground floor. - The bathroom did not have any ventilation and as a result all smells were staying in the room for long. - There were lots of mosquitos (not the hotel fault, it is more of an island problem) so during the evening it was not possible to enjoy the terrace. - The road in front of the hotel is very busy and there is no side walk so it is really difficult and risky to walk to the supermarket.
