Summary: Everything about this cabin is amazing! Located just near Sky Valley, you get all the amenities but with the feel of privacy. The cabin is beautifully decorated and comes equipped with every you could possibly think of to make your stay feel like you’re at home. The view is breathtaking! We came during peak fall foliage and the view from the porch did not disappoint! This was by far the best cabin we’ve ever stayed in and hope to stay here again!

Summary: This was the first vacation my family has had since December of 2023 and this stay was exactly what we needed. Quiet and clean and calm. Lovely space to stay, amazing weather for cool nights next to the fire.

Summary: If anyone is looking for a place to stay near Highlands, NC look no farther than Dragonfly Cabin at Scaly Mt. The pictures on line are great but truly don’t do justice to this magnificent property. We would go back for another stay whenever possible. It is meticulously decorated and impeccably clean. From the moment we walked in to the property we felt at home. It is obvious the restoration of Dragonfly Cabin was a labor of love, and it shows in the attention to detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is a 10 out of 10. It was hard to leave but we will be back.

Summary: Nicest property we have stayed at in the highlands/franklin area and we have been visiting 3-4 times a year for 5 years to be near family. The host is very helpful but considerate of guest’s privacy. Everything you might need is provided. Very peaceful and relaxing, with opportunities for many things to do. loved our sta.
