Positive: After arriving from our tiny hotel room in Tokyo, this place was a breath of fresh air. The bedroom sleeps three and the living room could fit another three, if needed. However, that would probably be a little bit too tight. It the three of us perfectly, but I'd say that for four would be the max if you want to stay comfortable. After you walk in the front door, the bedroom is to the left and the spacious living room (second living area) is to the right, so there is some separation for privacy if you needed it. The good: The value is hard to beat, especially for a place that could potentially sleep six. It's near the subway and it's right smack in the middle of Dotonbori. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better location. It has a small kitchen area, a bathroom with a separate toilet and shower, and a newish washing machine (no dryer but there is a drying rack provided). The passcode door lock made it so that we didn't have to carry around a key. The water pressure was wonderful and the hot water was plentiful. The not so good: With its amazing location, you do have noise outside of the bedroom late at night. There were people laughing and talking loudly directly outside our bedroom window until well past 3:00 a.m. on a few nights (even midweek). Thankfully I did bring ear plugs, so it was a minimal issue. It honestly didn't bother us but it may for other travelers. The shower room had a permanent musty smell that we couldn't get rid of even if we left the fan on. Overall, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. The positives far outweigh the very minor drawbacks. It was so fun to just walk out of your room and be in the middle of all the action. If I ever return to the area I'd absolutely stay here again.
