4 Bedroom House in Jacksboro

Besides the huge 2 slip covered concrete dock with 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, swim ladder, picnic tables and chairs, this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home sleeps up to 18 in beds!!! No need for pullouts or air mattresses. There’s a side by side for ADULT use to come and go from the dock at no additional charge. The main level offers an open floorplan with the dining, kitchen and huge living room in the center (2 sets of french doors leading to the large 14'x44' covered porch/cathedral wood ceiling) there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on each side with the 2 bedrooms that face the lake having new french doors that lead out to the newly covered back porch with beautiful lake views and seating for 20. There's also a large sunroom for relaxing with a mini split for heat/air. Don't forget to leave your comments on the blue chalk board behind the dining room table......The lower semi-finished level offers 4 full beds and 2 twin beds along with a fooz ball table, pool table, (new 2024) 2 person 'Doc & Pies' arcade game, family room, dining area and kitchenette with second refrigerator and a full bath along with a full size washer and dryer. Outside on the lower concrete patio you will find the hot tub and lots of additional seating. Home comes fully equipped with house towels (please bring your lake towels), sheets, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, natural gas griddle, firewood, kindling and roasting sticks, corn hole, board games, 6 TV's all with Dish Network, Comcast high speed internet and much much more. There is also a free boat launch only 1.9 miles from the house. Too much more to mention. You need to come and experience a stay at 'Anchors Away'....We are sure you will come again and again.

Summary: Anchors Away was so perfect. Clean and well stocked with kitchen items, linens, outdoor water toys, and great "no steps" access to the lake. Owner was helpful and very attentive to our needs. Owner helped us find pontoon rental - which worked out great. Hreat find for our group.

Summary: This property was just as represented, had all the comforts of home. In short a great home away from home! Several extras that made our stay most enjoyable. The S x S was great for the older and younger ones in our group. Kitchen was so well stocked. Didn't want for anything! Would stay again!

Summary: Great place with plenty of room for multiple families. Easy check in and check out and good communication with owners. The dock and side-by-side are fantastic. The plumbing is a little loud and the bathrooms are small but we loved the house overall! Also, it’s nice to rent a place so close off the highway…made the drive down much quicker!

Summary: This property is a favorite of everyone in the family! After the last year we have had it was nice to get away. The house and property far exceeded our expectations. Our family ranges in ages from 69 to 7 and the open floor concept allowed access to the decks, both floors and all areas easily even with the use of the walkers. The ATV was perfect for running supplies to the dock and transporting our crew. The pictures did not do the house justice as the interior was much larger than what we expected. We will definitely be back! Marie was very responsive to our needs and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property.

Summary: Wow, this property was everything and more than we expected. It was definitely the cleanest property I have ever rented. The house was big and had enough space where we could hangout together or find some get away space. The deck and outdoor grounds are awesome for playing outside or just "chilling" in the hammocks. The dock is huge with tables and water toys you can use. The house sits on a nice road and is in a great part of the lake. It is not too crowded, but not too far from numerous marinas and lots of nice coves. Marie and her family are as sweet and responsive as can be. I would highly recommend this property!

Summary: Anchor's Away has quickly become our favorite rental at Norris Lake. The home is roomy, comfortable and clean. We love the separation of the beds with several downstairs and four in bedrooms upstairs. The addition of the ATV was much appreciated this stay. While the house is very important in a rental so is the dock. There was plenty of room for our group of 18 and our boat. We have made so many great memories at Anchor's Away. Marie is a great host and always available. Thanks Marie!
