Positive: Bedroom and other public areas were clean, well appointed and and a tasteful combination of modern and traditional Scottish accommodation.
Negative: Impersonal eg there was no one to meet/greet us on arrival and no one to give local insight during our short stay. Unfortunately the only member of staff around during our stay was preoccupied with her workload and did not add positively to the ambience of the breakfast room. Customer experience was clearly not a consideration of this guesthouse but rather minimising what we feel is a critical component of hospitality eg not responding to requests through Booking.com for local places to eat before our trip, intimation of our arrival time, and last minute change of dates. These oversights let down what would otherwise be an attractive place to stay for a couple of nights.
Summary: Lack of traditional Highland hospitality let this attractive Guesthouse down

Positive: We stayed at this wonderful guest house to break up a long two-day journey, and it was such a delight. Kim was incredibly kind and couldn’t do enough for us, making us feel right at home. The team has truly thought of everything, from the thoughtful little touches to the warm atmosphere. The beds were unbelievably comfy—we slept like a dream! We only wished we could have stayed longer. The reviews really do speak for themselves—this place is a real gem. We can’t wait to return.
