Positive: Nice location. Close to Trollstigen, Åndalsnes and the mountain range.

Negative: In order to use the shower you have to go out in the open and into the main building, as you're basically staying on top of a separate garage aggregate. Not suited to cook. Kitchenette is just too flimsy and there's no extraction, so even if you open windows you'll smoke the place. No WiFi. No TV. No heating installed, just portable units.

Negative: There could have been instructions on where to go to get the keys but the owner came out shortly afterwards to let us know which room/location and to show us the room.

Positive: Inga, the owner, is nice and welcoming. The room we stayed in is functional and rather spacious, the bed is confortable. Even if the room is located in the basement, it is quite bright. We had our own kitchen and shared the bathroom. Everything was very clean. The house is easily accessible from the main road and comes with free parking spaces. It has a very nice garden with a table and chairs you can use for free to enjoy the calm surroundings and a magnificent view of the mountains. You can reach Andalsnes in 10-15 min with the car. We initially hesitated to stay in Nora Gard rather than in the city center of Andalsnes but didn't regret our choice at all :) I would definitely stay here again for a longer period of time and recommend Nora Gard !
