This brand new beautiful 4500 sq. ft. lakefront home sits on Norris lake near the Cedar Creek Road jumping bridge landmark in the popular Lakeside Estates. The Norris Nook is tucked into the wooded mountainside facing the lake for a panoramic view of the mountains and water. Our house will be mirrored off our other property Waker’s Paradise but with a few upgrades.
This 3 story open floor plan lake house is a large group vacationers dream featuring 9 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms (each bedroom has own bath) with 3 half baths and sleeps 32. Features 3 full length 50-foot-wide decks (that s 1500 additional sq. ft. of living space for your enjoyment) all with beautiful lake and mountain views. A large kitchen & family room on the main floor, plus kitchenette with bar on the lower level. A laundry room & family room on the middle level. A 2 story private dock with covered slip, electric outlets, dock furniture and a slide! In addition, we have a dedicated parking. Free internet, long distance and cable.
The main floor features a vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops, double wall oven, 2 dishwashers, gas range, and 2 refrigerators. For dining, you’ll have 2 large tables and a large island/bar with additional seating. The large covered deck overlooking the lake has tables, chairs, and a large commercial grade gas grill for large groups. There are 2 bedrooms with King beds & 2 baths on the main floor. The master bedroom walks out onto the large top deck and has a private bathroom. Finally, there is also a family room with a large screen TV and 3 couches.
The middle level features a family room with a large screen TV and 2 couches. Two rooms on this level have King beds, a private bathroom, and one walks out to the large covered deck. Another room includes a King bed with Full size bunks and Jack and Jill bathroom. The other room has a Queen and Twin bunks. The laundry room which includes 2 dryers and washer is also on this level.
The lower level features a large rec room with a Ping Pong table, Billiards Table, Air Hockey, a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, ice machine, a wet bar and a half bath. There is also a TV room for viewing, gaming, and relaxing, with 2 couches.. There are 3 bedrooms on this level, 1 being a bunk room (King bed plus a set of Full size bunk beds w/ pullout twin) with a private bathroom. Another room includes King bed with a private bathroom. The other room includes a Queen bed with Twin bunks and a private bathroom. The covered deck on this level features a lighted hot tub, with an outdoor TV, and additional seating. This is a NON SMOKING home. Minimum age 27 years to rent.
Lakeside Estates is situated on 188 acres of scenic mountain land, and surrounded by a private cove on Norris Lake. Lakeside Estates features a gated entrance, walking trail, private boat ramp, boat trailer parking, city water, minutes from several full service marinas and restaurants, and a short ride or drive to a golf course.
This part of the lake is considered seasonal water and prior to April and after September, our cove can look more like a river than a lake, there is no guarantee that you ll have access to the dock but the boat launch is available year round.

Summary: This place was exactly what we needed. 24 women and every room has its on bathroom this was perfect. Communication was excellent with the host. Norris Nook is a beautiful home. If you are thinking about a place to rent for a large group, this property is excellent. The gameroom was nice, the location is great. The kitchen is well srocked, with utenils, plates, dishes...erc.

Summary: I completely understand how people follow in love with the “lake life”. This vacation rental was completely perfect for our 20+ family vacation, from ages 8 to 69. More than enough room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the games and we adults enjoyed being on the water. Kitchen was well equipped & spacious. Beds were comfortable. Gathering areas were a great size . We would definitely book here again & again. Host were easy to communicate with. Thank you Nortis Nook for an incredible vacation!!!

Summary: Well stocked large home for our group of 30. Location was perfect - close to several marinas to restock or grab lunch or dinner. Also just a few minutes to the closest store. Definitely some wear and tear on a few things but nothing major. Had an issue with outlets on the island and volume on the tv in the master bedroom- mentioned something to the property manager and electrical issue fixed the next day and new tv. Excellent communication and response time. We had a blast and would for sure rent again!

Summary: We have tried several family vaycay on various lakes, and this by far was our favorite ! Not only was the lake beautiful, but the house was perfect. All kitchen amenities were available, plenty of space to be together (or not) for the 10 of us. The very few things we notified management about ( nothing big) they arrived almost immediately to rectify the situation. We are planning to return next year!

Summary: While the photos in this listing are beautiful, they don’t give you the full ambiance that goes with the overall location! We had a large group of ladies together for a church retreat. This house was PERFECT! Each bed had its clean and fresh smelling sheets folded and ready to put on the beds. This was great because I knew the sheets were clean! Everything was clean and fresh. The kitchen was loaded with all sorts of utensils you could ever need, as well as enough dishes and silverware for our entire group. The two coffee pots and the Keurig kept us caffeinated. The views from the decks - breathtakingly beautiful! It was still warm enough to take advantage of the private dock and slide! We love this location! A new favorite!!

Summary: We had an amazing time on our annual framily vacation! First time to this location and we will definitely be back!
