An oldie but a goodie - Opposite the Noosa River and North facing so a great winter spot to enjoy the sun and the view. All windows are screened and there are shutters allowing for cool breezes of the river. There is a breakfast bench with chairs. Balcony at the front Unit has outdoor table and chairs where you can watch the sunset or the happenings on the river. 5 minute walk to Tewantin Noosa Harbour Marina where there are many lovely Restaurants, Markets on Sunday, wine bar, main Street Tewantin shopping centre is a 10 minute walk where you will find supermarket, chemist, various shops etc. If you are bringing your boat approx 30 metres from apartment is where you launch from. Everything is all at your door step,

Summary: Prime location. Easy walk to Marina. Lovely view & peaceful quiet. No AirCon or Wifi. We coped just at 30oC but over that be careful Beds are small. Single (ok for kids) & Double (too small) so hard going in the heat Great Shower

Summary: We did enjoy our short holiday at 'Mandalay' ,Tewantin. The position is near perfect for a quiet break. Due to the smoke from the Fraser island fires, both my wife and I were not able to enjoy the river air as we had hoped. (We both have respiratory problems). The unit is well equiped but the absence of A/C during this period, was most noticable. A big improvement to the unit would be to have screen doors fitted so as to allow through passage for river breezes. We would like to return to this property in the near future, as we found it adequately met our needs for a restful break, convenient to shopping, and with never ending interest with river activities. Thank you.
