Summary: This quaint cabin was the perfect size for 3 adults and 1 child. The communal space was spacious and comfortable. The lighting on the deck was perfect, not too bright. We all really enjoyed our time here.

Summary: Cabin was in a great location with easy access to the lake. Had everything you could possibly need and the host was very quick to respond with any questions. Great place for families. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: North Long Lake has a special place in our hearts as we used to live across the lake from this cabin. We needed a place to stay that allowed a dog- this cabin was perfect. Lake front was well kept, Lake is clean and quiet. Cabin had everything we needed to spend a few nights away. Neighbors were friendly, location is very convenient for activities in both Nisswa and Brainerd/Baxter.

Summary: When we first arrived at 9pm at night we found half the outlets not working and for some reason the heat was on (it was June…) We we’re worried this was a bad sign, but we reached out to the owner and they had their property manager at our place in 15 minutes. From there everything went fine. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable for our family of five. The long dock was awesome and allowed us easy access to the sandy beach beyond the weeds, warm and shallow water made for lots of fun. We brought our boat and had to launch from across the lake. Getting to the dock was a little tricky since it’s so shallow, but we figured it out. Though we could hear the raceway nearby, it wasn’t too loud and didn’t bother us. All in all, this was a great place to enjoy a relaxing family getaway.

Summary: One of the reasons we booked this place was because the owner had great reviews. When we were informed a few weeks prior that the ownership had changed we were nervous. Turns out there was no need to worry. The new owner was great. Very responsive to all my questions. The place was very clean with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. There was a very nice grill we used and the lake access was easy. Some people mentioned that due to the proximity to Brainard Raceway you could hear the noise but we did not hear anything despite races going on while we were there. There is lots of shopping near by in Baxter for anything you may need which was also nice. This is a nice little gem if you want a fun getaway on a beautiful lake.

Summary: This was exactly what we were looking for- the cabin was the perfect size for the two of us and our dogs but could easily sleep 6. The lake is AMAZING due to how shallow and sandy the bottom is. The location of the cabin is so convenient close to everything you could need and but tucked away on a backroad where there is minimal traffic. Kimball was a great host- great communication and was there to answer any questions we may of had!

Summary: Property was clean with lots of amenities. Perfect place to crash after a long day on the lake/golf course/ or race track. One note: the property is close to the Brainerd International Raceway, so the cars can be heard pretty well. Luckily we were there to attend the races so it just added to the excitement. Also, the raceway only operates during clear daylight so there is no noise during night hours. I'll stay here again.
