Positive: If there were an 11, I would give it! We rented one of the four seaside facing rooms. They are, in essence, a tiny home that is so well designed and featured. The seaside rooms were pricey but worth every penny! We were extremely fortunate to look out on a million dollar view of the mountains and sea and our stress just melted away. It was extremely quiet inside and very comfortable and we stayed up late just watching the clouds roll by and be very mindful. The breakfast was terrific. Service outstanding. Directly across from the National Park. We spent almost two weeks traveling from Tromso to Reine and this was by far our favorite spot. Kudos to everyone in making this an unforgettable experience. You really did a great job with those rooms and experience!
Negative: The breakfast was terrific, but if you are a vegetarian it was limited. Still was outstanding.
Summary: The most incredible hotel of our two weeks in Norway. Stay in the seaside cabins!

Positive: We had the Aurora Sea View. The location is amazing, and the view of the lake is very nice. The room is beautiful, well designed, and comfortable. The bathroom is super nice. The spa is quite enjoyable, and comfortable too (with shapes inside to lie down with the head out). Warm slippers and crocs were even provided! The staff is very friendly and helpful, they make us feel at home. The breakfast is pretty generous, with local products (especially the salmon).
Negative: The mattress was a bit too soft for our taste. It feels comfy at first, but doesn't offer a lot of support. Also the hot water in the shower is slightly limited. Definitely enough for 2 hot showers, but don't expect to stay very long after that. One last thing, if you're unlucky and get some rain during the night, you will hear it quite clearly. Consider ear plugs if the weather forecast is not great and if you're a light sleeper.

Positive: Great place. Peaceful. Our room was a bit small for 2 adults. The top bunk bed was not really easy to climb . The host was knowledgeable and friendly. She made us feel welcome after a long drive. The food was excellent.
Negative: The toilet was a bit difficult to access due to the snow.
Summary: Should have booked more nights in a bigger cabin.
