Positive: Wonderful place, very close to Sarlat. We were very well welcomed from the owners. Actually it is a big house with three rooms for guests and a separate place for the owners, so you can feel yourself like being at home and at the same time being independent. The owners are a nice and kind couple, who welcomed us very warmly with soft drinks and small biscuits, giving us the time to talk a little bit, so we could know each other from the beginning. They explained us everything around, answered all of our questions and even made us a reservation at one of the restaurants in Sarlat for our dinner. The place is quiet, clean and you have everything necessary for a nice holiday. The breakfast was home made, served by the owners, and shared with us. We were feeling like a family, chatting not only with the owners, but also with the rest of the tourists, which is a great way to make communications. I fully recommend this place, especially if you want to deep in the French culture and way of living.
Negative: We could stay only two days.
Summary: "Notre Bastide" is a gem, close to Sarlat and main attractions in Dordogne, which we recommend!

Positive: What a delight this was! Our hosts were simply marvelous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was beautifully designed and decorated and led directly to the dining lounge area. It was clear that a lot of thought had been given to the architecture of the building. The evening meal was superb and started with a lovely cocktail. It was like being in a Michelin star restaurant. Although we had to leave early the following morning so couldn't have a proper breakfast we were given some beautiful pastries to take with us for our journey. It was clear that our hosts took great pride in everything they did and the conversation over dinner was very entertaining. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting the region.
