Summary: I stayed at Novotel Milan Malpensa and honestly, it was a pretty awful experience. The reception staff at check-in was unbelievably rude—condescending and dismissive. I reported that the AC wasn’t working in my room, and after waiting over two hours with no action, I went back down to ask for a room change. The guy lied straight to my face saying the hotel was “fully booked” and that I had no choice but to stay in that hot room. Only after arguing and stating I had asthma, did he magically find me another room. Totally unacceptable attitude and zero empathy. The rooms themselves? Old, tired, and far from truly clean—definitely didn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. The whole place felt more like a 2-star operation with a fancy name slapped on. The only saving grace was the restaurant: the staff were kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. The food was great and breakfast was also solid. If it wasn’t for them, this would’ve been a 1-star review. Bottom line: I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If you’re expecting a proper Novotel-standard experience, prepare to be disappointed.

Summary: Service at check-in was indifferent, restaurant delivered raw hamburger (priced at EUR 25), and caprese salad instead of Caesar salad as ordered. Room on first stay was in order and serviceable, room on second stay was not clean and AC did not work. Only stayed here a second time because close to airport.

Summary: Novotel is a little farther from the airport than we expected however, the hotel offers a shuttle for five euro per person. Hotel is clean. Staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere so it is a perfect overnight stay pre or post travel but not much more.

Summary: The hotel is okay but no access to public transport, taxi and hotel shuttle is very costly. The reception staff are not very helpful especially to tourists who don’t speak their language.

Summary: Our stay for a night with 2 kids was ok however the sofa bed was small and kids did not get a proper blanket for the night. Other that that hotel was fine.
