Forget the traffic, noise and cost of beachside rentals. Check out this newly renovated 3br/2ba pool home, sleeps 6 and pets and children are welcome! Located in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood on the corner lot in cul-de-sac in the NSB city limits.
New upgrades have been added in 2022. New roof with skylights, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, fixtures, toilets, ceiling fans, exterior doors with built in blinds, grill, and patio table, chairs and umbrella.
The kitchen is well equipped including all appliances, new full size fridge, range, multi-use air-fryer, built-in microwave, and dishwasher. It also has a large pantry in the hall. The large open living room has vaulted ceilings with lots of natural light. Cable and internet/wi-fi is also included.
The front porch faces a small, pond, secluded by nature for morning coffee, while enjoying the afternoon sunsets on the patio.
The large master bedroom offers a queen size bed, adjustable for reading or watching the 52”, wall mounted tv . The master bath is to die for! His and her sinks, garden tub and a double size walk-in closet.
The master also has direct access to the private patio with cocktail pool perfect for romantic, outdoor dining or having a barbecue with friends or family. The underwater lights in the pool changes12 different colors to enhance any mood.
The other 2 bedrooms are a good size and share a full bathroom and have large closets. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, dresser and nightstand. Bedroom #3 has a new futon, bookcase with personal books available for your stay. There are ceiling fans throughout as well as tile flooring therefore it is very easy to keep clean and cool.
The beach is less than 4 miles away and the Daytona Speedway, a quick 20 minute commute. If it's a Disney day, drive 1hr 10min and you're there. Kennedy Space Center is less than an hour's drive… or just stay in town. New Smyrna beach is famous for their artists. Arts and craft fairs, car shows and beach activities happen monthly, always a fun time. Close to shopping, medical facilities and I95 yet out of the typical beach traffic.
New Smyrna Beach ( NSB ) offers an excellent family, fishing-boating, golfing and relaxation destination. NSB incorporates small-town charm with history, culture and of course, wonderful Florida sunshine ! NSB offers a 13.2 mile, partial drive on beach stretch of snow-white sand with little noise, crowds or pollution. A rock ledge located four miles off the coast protects bathers and swimmers from undercurrents, giving New Smyrna Beach the distinction as ' the world's safest beach '. Many turn of the century buildings line these streets which are originally preserved and recently restored.
Pets are negotiable and must be approved. Pet Fee $250 per pet per stay.

Summary: This was a great ranch home for our aging dog. It is a very clean home with the amenities you need for your time away from home. It is only a short drive to the Indian River and the Atlantic ocean with many restaurants, bars, and shops along the way. We also enjoyed the new bicycle/walking path, short trips to Daytona beach for an afternoon of zip-lining, Palm Beach for the Cirque Italia, a day at St Augustine, the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, and (only 1.5 hours drive) a couple days at the Disney World Resort.

Summary: My husband and I and our Golden Retriever are midway through our stay in Lynn's very comfortable home. We will definitely be sad when Feb. 28 arrives and we have to head back to Ohio. Even though the weather has been cool for Florida standards, we are enjoying every day. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, post office, churches all nearby. It takes only a few minutes to be on the beach or in a park or walking down Flagler Ave. I've cooked most of our meals at the house and found the kitchen to be well equipped (small coffee maker for us caffeine lovers though). The master suite is very large with a huge bathroom and lovely jetted tub and rainfall showerhead. Floors are tiled so easily kept clean. We haven't been able to make use of the pool so far as it is not heated and the nights have been really cool. However, the patio is private and sunny and a lovely spot to relax while grilling out. Having a washer and dryer is, of course, a real convenience. We have gone to St. Augustine for a day; to Blue Springs State Park to see the manatees wintering there; viewed a missile launch from south New Smyrna Beach then ran across the street to photograph a sunset over the river; took in Cape Canaveral National Seashore; Dunlawton sugar mill ruins and botanical gardens; soaked up some rays on the beach (there is a fee for cars to drive on it);surf fished; viewed the Ponce Inlet lighthouse and also the Marine Science Center there; took in a movie in Port Orange a mere few miles on I-95; visited Daytona; went to the Artisan Festival in New Smyrna; took a 90 min cruise on the Indian River preceded by a buffet for only $19.95! We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in New Smyrna and want to thank Lynn for allowing us to stay in her comfy home. It has been a pleasant experience. Lynn responds to your questions very quickly and was very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this rental.

Summary: This house was great! It was very close to shopping but yet out of the main traffic places. It was awesome having a pool too. Very clean and decorated nicely. I would recommend it and also plan to book it again next year.
