The gas log fireplace is the focal point of this room, but make sure to check out the gorgeous mountain view from the window! For seating you can enjoy two large sofas, a loveseat or even a rocking chair. You can kick back and enjoy a relaxing evening with your favorite TV show or movie on the large flatscreen TV mounted above the fireplace. The end table and coffee table are handcrafted utilizing unique pieces such as a manhole cover for the base of the coffee table and a wood Pepsi crate for the top of the end table.
The warm and inviting kitchen of Mountain Time features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a family meal or a quick snack. There’s even a dishwasher for quick cleanup. The dining area offers seating for six and the island offers four barstools.
The cozy interior of Mountain Time extends to the three bedrooms and two baths. The master suite is located on one side of the home for ultimate privacy. Featuring a comfy king bed with flat screen, wall mounted cable TV, and a spacious bath with step-in shower, this master suite is a luxurious getaway. On the other side of the home, you will find two additional bedrooms each with a queen bed, flat screen TV and a shared hall bath with shower/tub combo.
To truly enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, head out to the backyard where you will find a fire pit perfect for making s’mores and memories, or just relax in the outdoor furniture on the patio while enjoying a morning cup of coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Lots of Wonderful Restaurants to Eat at and Lot of Shops for Shopping within minutes. Or the Kitchen was well equipped to cook a meal there at the house. We have been Renting from Carolina Mountain Properties for quite a while now. Their Rentals are Clean and Everyone at the Office is so Nice, Professional, and more than Happy to assist you when needed.We enjoyed this vacation and look forward to staying at this Rental Lots More.

Summary: Thank you for a very wonderful, dog friendly, house overlooking a mountain view by West Jefferson and close to Boone, N.C. We had our sons meet us to enjoy the long Presidents weekend. The house was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed! Loved the pool table and gas fire place! We would definitaly stay again in the future!! Thanks again!!

Summary: Loved our stay at Mtn. Home. Ample space, great location, comfy beds, amazing views and peaceful. This place is adorable, decorated nicely and they make great use of space. Plenty of seating and different options. Kitchen had almost everything you need for an extended visit- the basics of appliances and equipment. Could use a good size pasta pot and bigger cutting board is all. We made it work. I stayed here with my husband and mother. We have relatives who live in the area and it was plenty of room for everyone to come over one night. Great space if you have couples or a family. Would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A beautiful home in a beautiful location. The house was spacious and perfect for traveling with another couple since the master and other bedrooms were separated on each end of the house. Plenty of seating and beautiful views. Only about a mile from the nearest grocery and gas station and just a short drive to downtown West Jefferson. The only downside was no AC, as it was a little warm at nights, however fans were provided in each room. We ventured to Boone daily, which was about a 30 min drive, but all on the highway so not bad at all. There were neighboring houses nearby, but the home still felt very private. The pool table was a nice amenity that my family enjoyed. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Summary: This updated rancher was perfect for a trip with my parents, who can't handle stairs at the moment. Was wonderfully redone on the inside. Views were better than I expected and very convenient to West Jefferson. Was nice and rare to have use of a garage. One evening on the deck, we were visited by deer, bunnies and birds, just lovely and relaxing.
