Nuvole Barocche is an apartment with 5 sleeps on the first floor of an elegant mansion in the heart of the old city of Lecce.
A charming location very close (a few meters) from the main attractions of our beautiful city: Piazza Sant`Oronzo, the Basilica of Santa Croce, the Castle of Charles V, the Apollo Theatre, from the city park and the main pedestrian street of Lecce (via Trinchese-Corso Vittorio Emanuele), the Duomo and Piazza Mazzini.
The house has two master bedrooms + one little single bedroom that share a living room and a kitchenette. The master bedrooms have their own bathroom/shower, air conditioning, independent heating, internet wi-fi.
The firs master bedroom is the Artist`s Room: a comfortable bedroom with private balcony.
The second master bedroom is the Musician`s Room: a bedroom with four poster bed. It communicates with a little room with a single bed and it can accomodate a 5th person.
Kitchen with a kettle, toaster , espresso machine , coffee maker , oven and hob with cooker . The building is quiet and upstairs live just me and my wife .
The nearest beaches of sand are about 10-5 minutes drive (San Cataldo on the Adriatic sea & Porto Cesareo on the Ionian sea).
Possibility to reserve a private covered parking space: €15/night.

Summary: Especially loved the location in the center. We could have attended an opera by walking only one block! Also loved the high ceilings in this historic space. Comfortable beds and quiet.

Summary: This apartment was perfect for our group of 2 couples in their 60s. The bedrooms and bathrooms were attractive, spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen/dining room gave us the opportunity to prepare food/drink and to gather around the table to socialize. The location is perfect - close to everything we were interested in. The host was probably the best we have ever encountered- he was responsive, helpful, easy and very nice to deal with. We had a great time in Lecce and would definitely come back to this apartment!

Summary: Everything went very smoothly- even when I called the owner at 11 pm with a question! The apartment was clean, nicely designed, and perfectly located for exploring the old town of Lecce. Highly recommended!

Summary: Wonderful hosts and location! It’s a beautiful, relaxing place. It’s a large apartment. As others have noted, there’s not a TV or a couch, but we enjoyed visiting around the large kitchen table. Thankful for the coffee and tea selection. We felt well take care of as two middle aged women. We easily walked everywhere. We would highly recommend Lecce and staying in this apartment. You will be happy!

Summary: Pierluigi's apartment near the center of Lecce was a real find! The apartment was immaculate, beautiful, central and very comfortable. It was very easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go and there is food and shops down the street. Our kids loved the house and the parco giochi in the beautiful public park across the street. Lovely place to stay and would absolutely stay here again if able. Thank you!

Summary: Great location in the town centre. As the owner was away the keys were left in the key safe and we were able to gain access. Huge bedrooms with en suite facilities, plus a well stocked kitchen diner. There is no sitting room as such although the balcony can squeeze in two people. One night the front door lock “froze” and there was no way in, nor could we raise the owner. We ended up staying in a very expensive hotel. That said the overall stay was really good and the owner arrived early morning and quickly resolved the matter.

Summary: The property has two big, high ceiling bedrooms at either end with a dining room and kitchen in the middle. Just off the Main Street in Lecce, it is the perfect location to explore what the city has to offer. Pierluigi was a great owner, helping us with suggestions about restaurants, parking and olive oil! We spent most of our time visiting towns and beaches and returning in the evening to try new restaurants. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish.
