The house has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, BBQ and heat/ac. We are near restaurants, bars, supermarket, the NYC ferry and the subway. Like the beach? We are situated half a block away from the ocean! Coming with your family? We have a travel crib and high chair if you need them. Driving a car? No problem, we have a parking area that is great for loading and unloading. Like to cook? Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and backyard BBQ! Are you an artist, writer, yogi or studying for final exams? The house is perfect for a quiet ocean retreat! Small and well trained pets will be considered on a case by case basis. Summary: Elana was extremely easy to communicate with. I’m hesitant to let the world know how much i love this little house because I want it all to myself. I loved it so much I extended my stay mid trip. You are literally across the street from the beach. From the backyard patio furniture, outdoor shower, pink shed, to the beachy decor , everything made me feel happy and relaxed. I grew up on the beach but I live in a 1br apt in Manhattan so this was a necessary getaway and I can’t wait to get back to this little shoreside haven. Kerryn

Summary: The house is literally a 1/2 block from the ocean and although it is small, it is laid out thoughtfully to accommodate numerous guests! Back deck, outdoor Shower and excellent Weber Grill were a big bonus! Since we were staying for a week and like to cook, not having a dishwasher was a minor drawback. Elana was a fabulous communicator and gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and answered all our questions immediately. Fun eating options @ the beach and around the neighborhood. Highly recommend staying there! Thanks Elena for a fabulous week. We would stay again without hesitation!!

Summary: This is truly a spotless and pretty apartment and we were super pleased that it seems so light and airy. There was even olive oil and bread and condiments, etc. it is minutes from the beach, which has been much improved since Hurricane Sandy. We had use of umbrellas and chairs. Rockaway itself is not an ideal location in terms of amenities and nature - rather rundown Then again you can see the surfers.

Summary: My family and myself enjoyed this cozy beach house with full kitchen and nice backyard with new deck for grilling. 1 min walk to beach. Friendly neighborhood with everything you can possibly desire. 15 - 20 min to JFK, which is convenient but be prepared to deal with airplane noises during heavy traffic.
