Positive: Spacious, comfortable home just off the Camino hosted by a kind, efficient and accommodating host. Wonderful front porch with a pastoral view. Our host even drove us to a local tavern and retrieved us when we were done. GREAT VALUE.

Positive: Beautiful, quiet and well appointed, this home is a haven. Carmen has thought of everything and made it possible for us to have a luxurious night of rest along the Camino Portuguese.

Negative: Booking Dot Com makes it very difficult to locate this property. The name on local signage is different from the name listed on the website and in email confirmation.

Summary: Peace and recovery only 5 minutes walk off of the Camino.

Positive: We arrived at a beautiful house in an idyllic setting. Carmen greeted us with homemade cake and farm fresh eggs. There was an array of coffee, milk, and bread. The house was very comfortable with a terrace overlooking the countryside.

Positive: This house is delightful and so comfortable and I can't recommend it enough as a final overnight stop for Pilgrims on their way to Santiago. It is on the Camino and rural, but is within an easy walk to a bar/cafe. The shower is phenomenal and everything is spotlessly clean and simply wonderful. Carmen greeted us and left us fresh eggs and bread and butter and milk plus some beer. She is a very kind and authentic hostess. Thank you so much. We loved it all.

Positive: The owner was a great host. She brought us farm eggs and was willing to help at any time. We learnt later that the heating is managed remotely by her using an app, so please remember to leave the heating on rather than if you are like us and do not wish to trouble her when the place gets colder at night. The weather in Glacia changes very quickly.

Positive: Beautiful two bedroom home with washing machine! Right off the Camino trail so location was great for pilgrims. And clean clothes after days of hiking was a plus. The host provided bread, milk and sweets which was very much appreciated.

Negative: It’s remote with a lot of access to restaurants or other amenities. But a great place to stay before hiking the final day into Santiago de Compostela.

Summary: Gracious host and wonderful property where we needed it for our final day.
