This very unique, secluded, pristine cottage is located less than 90 minutes from Seattle on the Key Peninsula in a 17 acre cedar forest with ocean frontage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and appointed with luxury linens and comfortable beds. Privacy in a classic cedar and maple forest draped in moss and offering a quiet get away from the city. Expansive views of Mt Rainier are a feature of the Oberon Property, along with a very secluded waterfront access for launching your kayak or beach combing. Boaters and sailors can make use of the private mooring buoy as well. If you want to explore the area further, the "Key", as locals call it, is an undiscovered gem of tangled woodland surrounded by state parks and ocean on all sides. There are numerous festivals and activities throughout the year as well. Beyond the three salt water state parks the Key has a variety of other parks with extensive walking, biking, and horse trails. Winter or summer, the Key has everything for the perfect get-out-of-the-city-and-enjoy-nature getaway without having to drive for hours. It is quiet and rustic, peaceful and beautiful. Summary: We absolutely enjoyed our little getaway at this cabin after our wedding. It was tucked away in the woods and near the ocean, which led to it being so relaxing. The place was decorated so nicely and every little extra detail led to the atmosphere being cozy and relaxing. We hope to make it back soon!

Summary: A beautiful refuge perfect for four sisters who needed space from everything. The cabin was clean, organized, and well stocked, although we couldn't find a ladle. Something to note is that there is no oven. We really couldn't have been happier!

Summary: Oberon Cottage is the perfect retreat! Everything about the listing is accurate and the photos really do not do it justice... From the moment we arrived we enjoyed every part of the property. It was the perfect size for the two of us and the sitting area and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the patio and hot tub very much. The well appointed, efficient kitchen and barbecue made meals easy. The outside has so much to offer...a fire table with comfortable furniture, large grass area with another fire pit and oh, the private beach!!! We enjoyed watching the tide come in and out, beach combed and even saw live crabs and sand dollars in the water. We really appreciated the outdoor shower to rinse off after. Our favorite memory was watching a sea otter come up the stairs from the water and disappear into the wooded area next to the house at sunset the 2nd night. We cannot wait to visit Oberon again...thank you for sharing your amazing, secluded and very private cabin with us!

Summary: Oberon is a sweet, relaxing, private oasis. It is very well appointed with everything you need. We were lucky that the mountain was out our first night and we had a gorgeous moonrise as well. We had the beach to ourselves aside from a few frisky otters and sea lions who swam around just off shore. The cabin is tucked into the trees, giving it a treehouse feeling. We had a very relaxing stay.

Summary: My wife and I fell in love with the property within the first 2 minutes of arriving. The cottage is well stocked, cozy, and comfortable. The grounds are calm, peaceful, and the sound of the waves was glorious. We will stay there again when the temperatures are not as hot as the surface of the sun. There was a small misinformation that was quickly taken care of. All in all, it is an amazing place

Summary: Absolutely adorable house. <3 We loved the propane powered outdoor fire pit for smores and staying warm outside in the evening, and chatting. And we really enjoyed the hot tub!

Summary: We had only been there a few moments before we mutually agreed we must come back! Over the 4 days we spent at Oberon that feeling only grew stronger. We spent our time soaking in the hot tub under the shade of tall cedar trees, lounging and playing games on the beautiful wrap around deck, and collecting oysters and sand dollars on the beach. The home is so thoughtfully designed, built and decorated! It's a small indoor space but equally functional and beautiful, and the expansive private outdoor space makes it feel huge. This place is such a treasure, we hope to be back soon!
