Summary: The property and house were lovely! We enjoyed the fire pit and walking on the beach. The upstairs bedroom felt like being in a tree-house . The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The only negative was the internet wasn’t working and there was no television due to no signal.

Summary: This place was great! We loved it so much! The home is old, but we loved the charm and the owner had great decor and history information in the house. It’s interesting to think what life would have been like when the home was built. The view is great and we absolutely loved the fire pit and the fireplace; wood was provided. The view to water below was very nice and we could see some boats come and go. You could take stairs down to a beach, which was neat. Shower pressure was good in the shower. Beds were comfortable.

Summary: This cottage has the most beautiful view of the Penobscot River. You can see the beach and Verona Island and listen to the water lapping on the beach below. It's serene and we had a wonderful time during our stay. Centrally located to Bucksport, Belfast, Bangor areas and with ease of access to Camden, Rockport, and Bar Harbor from here as well. I would do it all over again.

Summary: We are traveling up the coast and this was our first stop. It was great. Fantastic views from every room. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly imagine! Comfortable beds! Very close to some cute harbor towns and scenic spots.

Summary: We really enjoyed the location and the outside firepit...the weather was cool and crisp...so perfect for the outdoor fires! We cooked in while staying there and loved the dining room table with the large window/doors looking out.

Summary: This is very nice camp in a favorite spot of mine. The built-ins, wood everywhere and big fireplace are quintessential Maine camp. The great outdoor firepit and patio with a cliff-side view of Penobscot Bay was amazing with the fall foliage. An added bonus was the Saturday night fireworks above Hersey Retreat. We both had a very good time.
