Summary: There's a reason that Ocean Song gets so many glowing reviews (including this one). The setting is magical. As you cross the threshold through the back doors to the lanai area, you enter a kind of paradise. On our first morning there, we literally watched humpback whales frolic in the ocean under a rainbow-clad sky, all while sipping coffee on chaise longue chairs. We swam in the palm-fringed pool (clean, sufficiently deep, and comfortably lukewarm) during the day, and watched the sun set over the ocean in the evening. The only neighbors we really saw were the geckos; the only sounds we heard were chirping birds and the churning sea.Other, more earthly details of the property are secondary, but worth mentioning. The house can be a little warm in the evening, even though it does eventually cool down during the night. While there are window A/C units in two bedrooms, guests are discouraged from turning them down low. The house is itself is comfortable and spacious, if not extravagant. There are probably larger, more luxurious houses in the area in the same price range -- they just won't have a comparable outdoor area. If your idea of a Hawaiian vacation is to sit indoors, Ocean Song probably isn't for you.The hosts and house manager were helpful, with good communication.Finally, it should be noted that a price of seclusion is a long drive. The nearest commercial area is at least 15 minutes away.

Summary: Ocean Song is a beautiful property! The house is spacious and the kitchen well appointed. Being right on the ocean is spectacular, and we saw whales many of the days that we were there. The property manager is very accessible and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!.

Summary: What an impressive place to relax and unwind!! Picking the limes and mangos on the property was so fun. Close to two amazing snorkeling spots at Manini Beach and Two Step. With all the site seeing we did during the day, we always tried to make it back to this house in the evening for the most amazing sunsets ever. I even saw the green flash that the locals talk about ! The owners have thought of everything needed to make our stay perfect. Even the rusty bikes worked great for an early morning spin around the area. Overall, best vacation home we have been in so far. Would definitely come back here.
