Beautiful private beachfront property in Cooper’s Cove Sooke BC. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, with an additional sofa bed in the first floor bedroom. Enjoy walking around the private beach at low tide. The Galloping Goose Trail, kayak rentals (kayaks are not included) fishing charter, convenient store, and restaurant are right next door to the property. The home is close to beautiful spots like the Sooke Potholes, Jordan River, and only 35 min to Victoria. Perfect family and friends getaway. Close to microbrewery and award winning gin distillery as well.
June, July, August and September bookings must be a minimum of 1 week (7 nights).

This is a dream vacation home located on ocean frontage facing south so there is exposure to the sun all day. A wrought iron gate swings open to a courtyard in front of the home with plenty of parking, very private and secure. Inside, the home is welcoming and beautifully appointed. Most of the artwork showcases Canadian artists and scenery celebrating the beauty of Vancouver Island. The open concept living room, dinning rooms, and gourmet kitchen all have beautiful ocean views (there are two ovens and two refrigerators for those who like to cook). The living room features lots of comfortable seating, a good selection of books, games, puzzles, DVD’s, large screen HD television with a blue ray player, and a gas fireplace. Wifi is available for your internet connection. There’s Bluetooth connection to the central stereo servicing the main room. Play your own music throughout the house if you’d like! Located on the main floor is a very cozy bedroom with a door to the garden and another large screen TV that could also serve as a smaller living room. This room also has a pull out queen sofa bed. The main floor also has a bathroom with curbless walk-in shower. Upstairs is a large full bathroom, two beautifully decorated bedrooms and a large master bedroom. The master bedroom has a gas fire place, a spa like bathroom and a large balcony with table & chairs to enjoy your morning coffee and the million dollar view of the ocean and snow capped Olympic Mountain Range. All rooms are filled with lots of light from the large windows, with views. This home can sleep 8 - 10 comfortably. A great home for those family reunions or get together with friends.
Enjoy evenings gathered around the wood burning fire pit overlooking the ocean. Spend a great day kayaking, or canoeing from the protected waters of Cooper Cove accessed by a gentle slope with a short stair case to the ocean (kayaks and canoes not included)

Summary: We spent the Christmas holiday here and it was absolutely perfect. The owners were very responsive and the property manager was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with kids, grandkids and family dog. It was wonderful. The place was grand with all the modern amenities. The location was great - close to numerous trails and lakes. Asha, the property manager, was wonderful to deal with. She could not do enough to assist us with our stay. We would highly recommend this place for large families and special events.

Summary: This house had just about everything we could wish for in the kitchen including 2 refrigerators and 2 gas ovens! Lots of room for our family of 7. We very much enjoyed sitting on the back lawn with a lovely view of the bay!

Summary: We had a nice stay. As others have noted, the house it large and well appointed. It is in a septic system so they ask to limit water use. The kitchen has every possible thing, the only downside being it can be hard to find stuff. The blinds were a wonky. During our stay there was a burn ban in affect so we couldn't use firepit. There were fires on Vancouver Island but air quality in Sooke and Victoria was good. Overall .. the negatives were very small. The house is great and the location is wonderful. Very relaxing. Patch of roses in bloom. Birds chirping and no crows or blue jays which was music to my ears :) There is one downstairs bedroom and the shower on that floor is walk-in, great for folks with limited mobility. If you are driving from the US via Port Angeles, be sure to reserve space on the coho ferry. The ferry between Sidney, B.C. and Anacortes, Wash. is not running as of Summer 2023. We had no problems with Edmonds / Kingston ferry but we aware WA ferry system is generally stressed. There is a place to rent kayaks next door. We went out and saw eagles, harbor seals, and some insane school of fish jumping out of the water like that scene in Life of Pi. There is a walking / biking trail nearby which goes all the way to Victoria. Farm across the road has many animals. Tugwell Creek has mead tastings on the weekend; owner was fun to chat with.

Summary: Great property for our two families to enjoy together, the house is a perfect size and the yard is stunning. Location is great for day trips to Potholes, the Skywalk and paddle boarding around the basin was beautiful. Great home, great trip.

Summary: This lovely oceanfront home was very spacious, clean, comfortable and well-supplied with everything we needed. The kitchen was fabulous and we appreciated extras like coffee, tea & chocolates! Check-in and contact with the property manager was super easy. We enjoyed being able to launch our kayaks from the property and walk to the Stickleback Pub next door where we had two delicious meals. Everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We had long planned a family gathering and happened on to this listing which was able to accommodate 8 adults and 2 children. So happy we found it! Lovely, clean, comfortable home and well stocked. Each room has a view of the water. We enjoyed the kitchen - cooking as a group and even had a table for crafts for the kids. Games, books, puzzles, movies also available. The fireplaces added a perfect ambiance to a chilly rainy day. We were greeted upon check -in by a smiling and welcoming manager to orient us to the place and she was always available if questions arose. We only wish we had come at a season when kayak rentals were open - that was our only regret. We would love to go back!
