Welcome to The Whale's Tale - an ocean-front paradise situated in Port Renfrew, BC. The fully furnished suite is situated at the mouth of the San Juan River, with views across the bay to the mountains of the world famous West Coast Trail.
Walk out your patio door and take a stroll on the beach or just relax on your patio and watch the seals, sea lions, bald eagles and ospreys.
The Suite
There is a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, full bathroom, walk in shower and an outdoor dining area. Port Renfrew offers a true west coast experience - beautiful beaches, old growth forests, amazing salmon/halibut fishing and local restaurants.
Fall asleep listening to the ocean waves. Wake up to the ocean view.
There is no cell service in Port Renfrew so we provide guests with wi-fi.
Other things to note
Port Renfrew is a very special place. Guests will see that the area is developing rapidly. There is now a gas station in town, the General Store has expanded its stock, and there are a number of options for dining out.

Summary: This was very remarkable stay starting with the welcoming hosts. The unit is remarkably appointed throughout with an outdoor area for relaxation and wildlife viewing. The hosts were available when assistance was needed. Most of all were the unexpected gifts and very much appreciated. Our limited conversations only raised more questions. Summary: The Whale's Tail in Port Renfrew was an ideal location for exploring the coastline beaches. We loved the beautiful view of the cove from the patio and the private beach just down the steps from the yard. The unit was immaculate and tidy, with all the kitchen items we needed. The very nice bathroom had plenty of hot water, good water pressure and soft, fluffy towels. Nothing was lacking in the unit. The hostess was extremely friendly, considerate and responsive when we asked for a suggestion about the area. She anticipated every possible need. We could not have asked for a better location, rental, view or experience! Thank you!

Summary: Just what the absent doctor prescribed for my well-being. Both my friend & I enjoyed every moment of our stay. Walking on your beach reminded me of my childhood, playing in โ€œroomsโ€.
