As the name suggests you will be close enough to the beach that you can be calmed by the sounds of the ocean. Staying in one of Anglesea's most classic beach homes will not only connect you with the natural environment but also provide you with that ultimate beach getaway feel and relaxation.

Ideally located on the beach side of the Great Ocean Road, it's only 10 minutes walk to the beach via the coastal track and 5 minutes to the shops and river.

Ocean Sounds comprises three bedrooms, plus two living areas with dining furnished with quality comfortable blackwood and leather furniture and recliners. It has two TVs, DVD player and Fujitsu reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. For extra heating there is a cosy wood fire to enjoy. The large secure backyard provides a courtyard for BBQs and entertaining.

Summary: The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and different spaces to relax, indoors and out. It was located in walking distance to the river, beach and shops. Loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

Summary: The best location in Anglesea, easy walk everywhere (beach and shops/cafes) and good road access for Great Ocean Road. House is "old school" but has everything you need - two living spaces was a godsend with teens. Garden surprisingly large so would be great in Summer. House was a bit cold but since we were there in the coldest snap in years that can be forgiven. Special mention to the owners and agents - Great Ocean Road Holidays in particular Vicky - who went above and beyond in finding and returning a lost item.

Summary: It was a really easy process renting this holiday house. The price was reasonable, house was clean and comfortable. There were lots of places within the property to relax outside and inside. Great location. Will be back.

Summary: What great house in a great location. Extremely comfortable with everything you could need- including a fire as it was a little chilly for our stay. Right across the road from the caravan park where we had friends staying and walking distance to everything else in Anglesea. Was also very happy with the booking as they went above and beyond when we left our keys there and a few other things. Thank you so much. We can't wait to come back.

Summary: A short walk to both the beach and the shops the location was perfect. House was clean, well presented and very welcoming. The wood fire made for comfortable and warm winter nights!. A great place to stay.

Summary: We loved our time away at this beautiful little house. We soaked up the rays in the awesome back yard area. Everything is so close!!! A 5 minute walk & you are on the main street amongst all of the shops & cafes. A 10 minute walk along the tree lined path & you are at the beach! There's plenty of room both inside & out for a couple of families.

Summary: Our family had such a lovely time staying here over Christmas. It was a great location. 3 min walk to the shops and 10 min walk to the beach. The house was very comfortable, cosy and had a great backyard and sitting area to relax after a day at the beach. The house was well stocked and had everything you needed for cooking and entertaining. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious enough with plenty of storage. We loved the town of Anglesea and we had plenty to go and do. Will definitely stay again!
