This contemporary Cape style property is positioned on a unspoiled barrier beach dune, with views to the front of Cape Cod Bay and views to the rear of Old Harbor Creek and the salt marshes that rim it. This property offers multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy, with first floor wrap around decks both covered and open, and second floor balconies with endless view to enjoy an end of day cocktail or your morning coffee. Walk a few steps down the boardwalk to the private beach. Inside, the home impresses even more with casual elegance at every turn and eye catching views from every window. The main level impresses with an open floor plan with a living room, dining room and kitchen designed with comfort and socializing in mind. The home has gorgeous hand scraped walnut tone hardwood floors throughout. The main living space is centered around a beautiful fire place with a 50 inch flat screen TV above equipped with surround sound. If you prefer a quiet space to yourself or for the kids, there is a separate sun-room furnished with comfortable furniture, additional TV and beautiful french doors to provide privacy if desired or a great separate space for the kids to play or unwind with a movie at the end of the day. The dining room is tucked comfortably in bay window alcove overlooking the salt marshes. Summary: From the pictures, we were excited to see the house we rented. However when we arrived at the location we were absolutely blown away. The home was decorated with fresh flowers in almost every room. The kitchen was STOCKED and the bedrooms were absolutely delightful. Susan was amazing to communicate with and everything inside and outside of the house was top notch and first class. We never wanted to leave!We felt like we were staying on our own private beach. It was absolutely amazing and we will 100 % be back and ABSOLUTELY without a doubt rent this home from Susan again. Don’t hesitate. If this house is available, rent it immediately. You will not be disappointed !!

Summary: I couldn't say enough positive things about this absolutely stunning property or it's gracious host. We brought our children to Sandwich to spend a beautiful week on the beach vacationing in Cape Cod, and ended the week with an intimate elopement on the beach right outside the home. The host went above and beyond for us (and was so kind!), and we even chatted with the lovely neighbors. The house is immaculately decorated and inviting and the views/location is incomparable. Highly highly recommend.

Summary: We had great expectations for our vacation at this house and the host and house exceeded those lofty expectations! This spot checked all of the boxes for our family. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Calming ocean waves and breezes. Ample remote work space for those inescapable check-ins. Nightly fire pits on the beach. Beach games, puzzle and board games space. Impeccably decorated living spaces, and a master bathroom to die for! Preparing food was a cinch with a kitchen stocked with every convenience. Ample shade, and the spacious wrap around porch provided the ability to move into warmer or cooler temperatures depending on your preference. Even the one rain event we had was an enjoyable outdoor living experience. We can’t wait to go back!

Summary: This beautiful home provided the perfect Cape vacation spot for my family and our dogs (allowed by permission of owner)! The home itself is beautifully built with amazing features such as the open concept loving space, beautifully appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, large windows to catch the sunset, and wrap around porch. The central AC is amazing and necessary for hot sunny days, and all mattresses were firm and comfortable. The owner has put so much though into making this feel more like a home, rather than a bare-bones rental, and we were surprised to see how well-stocked the kitchen is (pans, pots, Tupperware, flatware, foil, etc) and the rest of the home for anything you could imagine (beach towels, extra blankets, etc). The owner is extremely responsive and met us for key drop off—she even filled the house with fresh flowers for our stay which was a lovely touch. We stayed for a week at the end of May and had great weather, though we did experience part of the black fly season so recommend bringing some bug lamps. We still enjoyed deck and loved the semi-private beach that is accessible via stairs (our dogs had no problem with them) and laid out for days on the sandy parts—the beach is partly rocky so bring water shoes! Water is calm and perfect for families with small children, and on the other side of the house is beautiful marshland that you can walk by or see from the porch. All in all, highly recommend this listing and we would book again.
