French Beach Provincial Park is within 2 K, and Juan de Fuca Provincial Park, China Beach, Sombrio Beach, Sandcut Beach, Port Renfrew, Sooke and Victoria are all with in 30 to 60 K drive.
No smoking, 12 stairs to lower unit, 60 stairs to beach,
not suitable for people with mobility issues,

There are 2 other condos on the property and are all self contained with bathrooms, kitchens,
there may be an opportunity to rent more space if available.
BEACH NOTE- the wet sand beach is only available during spring/summer low tides, it changes time from 6 am to noon on different days.
There are usually no low tides in the afternoon.
When the wet sand is exposed there is about 50 more feet of sand underwater to about waist deep, and you can walk for 1,000 feet.
When tides are higher you can still go down the steps and walk around and over large rocks to the water.
With low or high tides there is always danger if the waves are large.
Children can’t be left alone at the water, stairs or cliffs.
Remember there are 60 steps to the beach so it’s hard to carry kayaks or canoes down.
It's a studio, no cooking, toaster, toaster oven, kettle, microwave, keurig/French Press, so not suitable for stays over 4 days, we have two other spaces more suitable, so just ask please.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway on his Birthday. The property and view was absolutely gorgeous! It was everything we hoped for and more…lots of beaches and trails to explore in the area. The host were very pleasant and and easy to deal with. We will definitely be returning! You won’t be disappointed.

Summary: When these days are you ever shocked by somebody going above and beyond…? Or when a place you goto far exceeds your expectations when you are pretty sure it’s going to be excellent in the first place…? This is the place and Robert is the owner… We frequent this area and how great was it to find Roberts property and well appointed suite…very great! The ocean deck alone is worth the price of admission, (spectacular!) However the excellence just continues through the suite with…everything! The fine craftsmanship and thought that has gone into building and designing this place is tasteful and modern. You have everything you want but it maintains a minimalist calming design. Fine leather chairs, giant shower, amazing bed with views, and blackout shades when needed…it has it all! Robert was the perfect host, knowledgeable about the area and friendly to talk to yet, yielding to let you enjoy your stay! Thank you! We will be back for sure! Can’t wait….

Summary: Rob and his wife Lynn are great hosts! They are so hospitable, thoughtful and easy-going. This is our second time back and we intent to come back many more times! You wake up to a beautiful view of the sea, hear the sound of the waves, all at your doorstep....and the only sound you hear is nature! It's perfect!

Summary: Rob was an excellent host. The ocean view from the suite was great; the deck was even better. In our brief time there, we saw otters, seals, whales, and eagles. The finishing/design of the suite itself was stunning - the pictures don't do it justice! The cabinets, shelves, doors, and paneling is all custom millwork. There's a HUGE walk-in shower and the bathroom would not be out-of-place in a boutique hotel. The kitchen is very well appointed. Though there's no stove/hotplate, the microwave and toaster oven was perfectly sufficient for our needs. It was everything we were looking for. We'll definitely be coming back for another visit :)

Summary: Beautiful, quiet and private location, stunning views, eagles, hummingbirds, water, mountains, nature trails and beaches for walks. The studio apartment was perfect for the two of us, and very comfortable - as pictured! Planning to go back for a longer stay, and have already told a number of our friends. Rob was an amazing host.
