Our spectacular beach property is 'On The Sand,' offering its own private beach while providing white water views and soothing ocean sounds (you hear the surf in every room). It has a bright beachy decor and a quiet location - conveniently located halfway between the Village in Carlsbad and the Pier in Oceanside (we walk on the sand to both).
This completely renovated home is fully furnished (we relax here frequently) and offers sweeping ocean views from La Jolla to Catalina. You can watch the dolphins play or the whales spout from the living room, deck, or beach.
At night, visit one of the area's fine restaurants or simply dine on the beach while watching the beautiful sun set over the Pacific. During the day, relax on the beach or enjoy the numerous activities that are unique to this fabulous destination.

This listing is for UNIT A.
UNIT A (sleeps 1 to 6): Has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom and has a California king size bed in each of the bedrooms and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
There are 3 different units. Unit A (2 Bd, 1 Ba - sleeps 6), Unit B (2 Bd, 2 Ba - sleeps 6), and Unit C (1 Bd, 1 Ba - sleeps 4). Unit B is VRBO #882234, Unit C is VRBO #253036, and all 3 units are VRBO #882235.
The units are vertically arranged with Unit A at the street level, Unit B in the middle, and Unit C at the sand level. All 3 units face the ocean, have oceanfront decks, and share the private beach.
Our beach house is 'well cared for' since we personally (as well as our family) stay in all 3 units, and we do have wireless broadband internet access. Over the years, we have had 100s of delighted beach loving guests.

Summary: This is the best value in the whole area. The house is right on the sand. Unlike many houses in the area it has stairs leading directly to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Owners are very responsive. We have stayed here many times and plan on returning in the future.

Summary: The house was great, amazing views, unit A has the parking stop so that was a huge perk. The view from the balcony was amazing. Area was clean and safe. The beach was perfect! Very clean and inviting. Not at all packed (we visited over July 4th).The only thing that could be done better is towels. I recommend bringing your own if you can. We had 6 bath towels for 5 people and zero beach towels. There is a Walmart close so we ran for beach towels but with no free access to laundry having only 6 bath towels for 5 nights and eventually 5 beach towels we purchased with constantly wet and sandy kids was something to navigate. Otherwise everything was perfect! The pre arrival conversation was the only time I spoke to the own because everything was so smooth. You can't beat the beach view and access! Definitely would book again!

Summary: This property has stunning views, updated decor, and everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked, there are sand toys for the kids, and the owner Kelley is so responsive. We even saw dolphins from the deck! We will definitely be back!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this beach house, in unit A on the top level. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. We watched surfers each morning and could walk down to a private beach area and also walk down the stairs to walk along the coast. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes and all you might need during your stay. There is no air conditioning and our first evening was VERY Hot but did cool off with balcony door, windows opened with fans running. By the time we went to bed, it was actually very comfortable for sleeping. This unit would greatly benefit with an updated kitchen and bathroom and air conditioning. Beds, floors, kitchen counters /dishes, linens, furnishings were clean. Baseboards, inside cabinets, light fixtures etc had build up of dust and such. Overall our stay was great. We stayed in mid September and the temp was in the low 60's at night with highs in the upper 70's.

Summary: We had a wonderful time during our stay. Listening to the ocean sounds, watching the surfers, seeing the dolphin swim by and walking on the beach made our stay. Our day would start with coffee on the balcony watching the surfers and end with cocktails on the balcony watching the gorgeous sunset. Thanks for a great week.
