Positive: I had an awesome stay here! From the moment I got there, I felt so welcomed and at home. Shiva and Tami were super kind and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The villa has a beautiful pool, perfect for lounging, and the garden is just gorgeous — really relaxing. But honestly, the best part was how close it was to the lonely beach. Just a quick stroll, and you’re on the sand, ready to soak up the sun. If you're looking for a chill place with a great vibe, I definitely recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Positive: After an intense trek in the Himalayas, I was looking for a peaceful place to unwind, breathe, and truly relax. Fortunately, I found this little oasis on the quieter side of Varkala. My stay at this charming house was simply amazing. The atmosphere was cozy, and the surroundings were natural – a perfect retreat. The pool area was ideal for relaxation, and we enjoyed spending time in the garden, savoring delicious meals on the terrace, and relaxing in our cute, homely room. Tami from Germany and Shiva from India welcomed us warmly into their home. The lovely couple took great care of us, offering both space and meaningful conversations. The breakfast was especially noteworthy – fresh, varied, and made with love. Tamis Pancakes and Shiva’s chai made the mornings even more special. We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to our next visit.I highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to relax and recharge in a peaceful, natural setting. Positive: The place was a little piece of heaven. Luic was so accommodating, and instantly made me feel at home. The hospitality was really exceptional. The outdoor area was perfect to relax, and an excellent bookshelf. The breakfast was beyond expectations, the garden was so beautifully kept. The pool, wonderful to swim in. I really would love to visit again.
Negative: It’s a little walk away form a restaurant (10mins max), which isn’t a problem in the daylight, but travelling on my own, at night I was a little apprehensive walking back on my own in the dark.
Summary: Just what I needed. So restorative.

Positive: Very welcoming and super accomodating family. The house is a nice stroll from the beach and about 30 min from Varkala's cliff. Breakfast is more of a brunch, it's so generous that you won't need lunch. Super clean throughout.
Negative: The room is basic and comfortable. If anything, it may be missing some reading lights (as often in India), and possibly window panes to help keep the AC usage and costs down (it is rather hot, so you'll be grateful for it).

Positive: We stayed at the Villa that had 4 rooms, a pool, a treehouse and an amazing backyard. The hosts were French and the best ones we have experienced. They were quick to help, the quality and quantity of breakfast prepared by the hosts was awesome and the property was clean and well maintained. Kitchen was also well stocked. Beaches were at walking distance which was also good.

Positive: The hosts were amazing. We suggest that you go for the French breakfast that they offer. It was delicious and very filling. Especially Louis’ apple pie!
Negative: The private bathrooms aren’t attached. So keep that in mind as you book. However Krishna, the host, privatized our hallway at night, which helped us enjoy our time there as a newly married couple.
Summary: Enjoyable stay with great hosts and an amazing French breakfast!
