Summary: Had a wonderful time with the wife and pups in this remote cabin! No phone service and no wifi let me get caught up on some rest and a couple of books. There were deer out front the first morning we woke up that the dogs loved watching. Listing the amenities helped us prepare well and we definitely took advantage of the kettle for lots of tea, cider, and coffee. Followed the owner's directions to the property, which were very good. The 38 intersection is at the big CDOT sign on the west side of town.

Summary: Wow!!! what an Awesome little place to disconnect from it all!! Location was amazing made you feel like you were at a mountain cabin with no one else around. Off Grid and amazing hopefully we will stay there again next year.

Summary: The cabin truly is off the grid and the perfect place for unwinding and star gazing. We used the fire pit and then sat back and enjoyed the Milky Way and the amazing dark sky. The grandkids enjoyed exploring and climbing on the rocks, the adults enjoyed the quiet and the wildlife. The only thing I’d like to add as a suggestion would be coffee, instant coffee is bad, how about an old fashioned percolator for on the stove (instructions should be included). Update driving instructions, it’s Airport Rd now, very difficult to find if you arrive after dark. Thanks for a great couple of days, wish it could have been longer.

Summary: “Off the grid cabin “ with everything you could need! Very nice hosts that provided a lot of extras-bottled water/coffee/tea/hot cocoa/condiments etc. Very clean, even the windows! Enjoyed the wildlife and the quiet. Great place to stay for some R&R. You can get a cell signal to call out or text in certain areas if you want or need to be found!

Summary: Beautiful property with lots of wildlife: deer, marmots, chipmunks. The cabin itself was a great mixture of old school knotty pine and modern conveniences (plenty of hot water, electric lights, gas stove and refrigerator). We took our two college-aged kids for a long weekend and they survived the lack of wi-fi! After grilling some burgers, we sat around the firepit for a while and then went inside and played poker. Who knew a couple off-the-grid evenings could be so entertaining? (I knew).

Summary: Great location to take in the scenery and peacefulness. Cabin has that rustic feel and plenty of room for a bigger family. Hummingbirds, chipmunks, and deer visit all day every day. Close enough to Gunnison for stores and other activities. Would recommend this cabin 10/10. Hosts were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area
