Summary: We have just had the most wonderful week in this Gite. The house is clean, filled with charm and equipped with everything you need. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and local chestnut jam. The pool was wonderful: salt water which was a nice surprise so no nasty chemical smell. The view from both the Gite and the pool area was amazing. My family included a 4 year old and a 7 year old.... they had so much fun in the pool and there were games and puzzles in the cupboard which they enjoyed finding. We could happily walk into Largentière, easy walk down into town but a little more challenging on the way back up! But the 4&7 year olds managed so it is worth leaving the car behind! The owner, Sabine, could not have been more helpful. She helped us arrange pony trekking for our children and remembered it was my daughter’s birthday on the last day and popped round with a little present! How lovely. We would recommend this Gite to anyone: families or couples, it is the base for a wonderful holiday. We hope to return to the Ardeche in the future, when we do this Gite would be our first stop. Thank you Sabine xx
