Positive: A truly boutique accommodation option - so refreshing after several less well-appointed options we were booked at along the Great Ocean Road route. We were in the Osmond Suite, which was spotlessly clean, had great facilities and a warm comfy bed. An easy stroll to Bank Street with great coffee and eateries and on to the riverside waterfront where Jasus will happily sell you a fresh, prepared crayfish. Add a sourdough roll from Cobbs bakery, and dinner is sorted. The Merijig restaurant is an easy walk from Old Market and offers a great range with a menu that changes every day.

Negative: For septuagenarians like us, climbing the stairs with luggage was a challenge but still worth the effort

Positive: The stay at old market inn was lovely and relaxing. The room was very spacious, clean and the finishes luxurious. The kitchen was well equipped and. The breakfast hamper was delicious and lasted multiple days after being hand delivered by staff. The bath was very large and a bath bomb and bubbles were supplied which was a lovely touch. Location was excellent, easy walk to the Main Street and on a quiet street.

Positive: Instructions from the owner were very complete and helpful. Room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. Lovely linens and bathrobe, cute galley kitchen, fabulous bathroom. Melting moments (biscuits) were delicious! Very close to downtown shops and restaurants.
