Positive: It’s set in a quiet area, which made for a peaceful getaway, yet it’s reasonably close by car to Boora Discovery Park and Clonmacnoise Historical Site. The cottage has all the charming features you would expect from an old country building, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere during our stay.

Negative: I found the mattresses to be quite old and overly soft, which made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. Additionally, the kids' duvet was in poor shape, not sitting properly on the bed, which added to our discomfort. Overall, I was disappointed with the bedding situation and hope improvements can be made for future guests.

Summary: Overall, our stay at this rustic country cottage was peaceful and enjoyable.
