Positive: Great location near the beach just a brisk walk from Berwick upon tweed. The apartment was freshly decorated and the furnishings were very comfortable and clean

Negative: The heating wasn’t on when we arrived and it was very cold and took a while to warm up. The owner has assured me that it should have been on but I think the timer had been set incorrectly!

Positive: Excellent location a minute from the beach, clean, comfortable and well equipped. A lovely welcome basket was provided with eggs,porridge and home made jam! ( much appreciated ) Delightful cottage perfect for exploring all that Northumbria has to offer. Will definitely return.

Positive: 5 minutes walk to a wonderful beach in one direction and 5 minutes the other way to a proper pub. Local people incredibly lovely. Loads of places to walk our dog.

Positive: The location was absolutely brilliant ,the beautiful beach was only 30 mts away from the front door , the cottage exceeded our expectations , very cosy indeed , very clean and well equipped throughout , the building itself is very eye catching and beautifully restored , we will most likely come again one day ,

Negative: The tv I couldn’t find a lot of channels and the overflow on the bath needs attention , but please be sure this is minor , didn’t reflect on our holiday at all
