The house is built in the Old Viennese style (winemaker's house) and is located on the southwestern outskirts of Vienna. The Mauer district is known as a wine tavern area and, thanks to the nearby Vienna Woods, is ideal for recreation and relaxation. Well-known wine taverns are within easy walking distance and offer dining and drinking options at reasonable prices.
Visitors to Vienna will particularly appreciate the location on the outskirts of the city. They are quickly accessible by public transport both to Vienna's city center (with all its sights) and to the rural recreation area. From Vienna-Schwechat Airport, Mauer can be reached by airport taxi in about 30 minutes (distance: 30 km) - costs approximately €50.
