Positive: Absolutely amazing place! I will definitely be back to stay longer next time. Cosy cabin, with everything you need. Lovely view, right by the most beautiful beach which is only 10 min walk away. Spending the evening there was a nice way to spend my birthday evening.🥳 Only stayed the night as I was doing the NC500 this trip, but was enjoying the beach so much in the morning that my plans for the day got pushed back hours as I didnt want to leave.😄 If you want secluded, remote & to feel like you're in a postcard picture this is the place. Oh! I was able to use my phone, Im with EE. The connection was stronger in certain parts of the cabin, I was lying in bed watching youtube with no issue, however my friend was having issues sending emails. 🤷🏽‍♀️ so you may have to move around a bit, but not having WiFi was a non issue.

Negative: Just nit picking but... A hook behind the door of the bathroom would be helpful & a full length mirror. The handle of the shower door is on the inside which is a bit strange. The can opener needs replacing, just blunt that's all. Also there was no iron, Not that I personally needed one but for those who may want to know.

Negative: The property was a higher price than other comparable ones we have stayed in for the past couple of weeks. This may have been due to booking at the last minute. Everything else was perfect!

Positive: The chalet was comfortable enough. Electrical, gas and plumbing all worked well, and there is a pleasant stream running past the property and a beautiful beach within an easy walk.

Negative: For the price (£180 per night self catering) the chalets are really quite small and basic. Reason we booked it is reviews talked about the great beach, and we assumed we would have great views of it in a nice rural area. In fact, though you drive past a quite industrial fishing port, scrapyard and roadworks (though the latter presumably temporary) to get to the location and the immediate view from the front of the chalets is not of the beach but the local cemetery, public toilets and bins (see photo). Cannot recommend for this reason.

Positive: I really enjoyed how cozy the apartment was for a stay with my partner. It was warm, comfortable, and offered exceptional views — a truly pleasant retreat to disconnect and relax. Bed super-comfortable, bathroom well equipped, kitchen...everything

Negative: It’s not that I didn’t like anything, but it would be nice to have WiFi available, just to be able to watch a movie on Netflix or similar. My partner and I often dream of spending a week working remotely from a place like this — but that’s just a personal preference!
