Positive: We had a lovely stay at the cabin and would happily recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway. One of the things we enjoyed most was the opportunity to disconnect from social media and the internet and simply relax. We stayed in the Green room, which was conveniently located close to the car park. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and offered a comfortable amount of space for two people. The surrounding scenery was beautiful. Watching the sunset at the nearby beach was a highlight of our stay, and it was lovely to see sheep grazing peacefully around the property. We also enjoyed spending quality time together doing puzzles and crosswords, which added to the relaxing atmosphere.
Negative: A couple of things to be aware of: the property is located on Cemetery Brae, so there is a cemetery nearby. In addition, there are very limited shops and dining options in the immediate area, so we would recommend purchasing food and drinks before arriving.
Summary: Overall, this was a peaceful, cosy, and memorable stay in a beautiful location, and we would gladly return.

Positive: A beautiful warm cozy cabin with comfortable bed, large power shower room, a sofa, dining area, and well equipped kitchen. The views from all the windows were outstanding. Beautiful beaches within a short walk (up a sloping hill), plenty of nature to watch from the cabin (sheep, birds, horses)
Summary: A beautiful place to find peace, relaxation and to enjoy the stunning scenery.

Positive: The size is perfect for two, outstanding views across the bay with a stream just a few steps from our cabin. A short walk from a fabulous beach.
Negative: Stools and bench were not to our liking, a table and chairs would have been nice.. But they did what they needed to do. Minor niggle on a lovely lodge.
Summary: Beautiful chalet in a stunning location, what a wonderful stop on our NC500 tour.

Positive: Absolutely amazing place! I will definitely be back to stay longer next time. Cosy cabin, with everything you need. Lovely view, right by the most beautiful beach which is only 10 min walk away. Spending the evening there was a nice way to spend my birthday evening.🥳 Only stayed the night as I was doing the NC500 this trip, but was enjoying the beach so much in the morning that my plans for the day got pushed back hours as I didnt want to leave.😄 If you want secluded, remote & to feel like you're in a postcard picture this is the place. Oh! I was able to use my phone, Im with EE. The connection was stronger in certain parts of the cabin, I was lying in bed watching youtube with no issue, however my friend was having issues sending emails. 🤷🏽‍♀️ so you may have to move around a bit, but not having WiFi was a non issue.
Negative: Just nit picking but... A hook behind the door of the bathroom would be helpful & a full length mirror. The handle of the shower door is on the inside which is a bit strange. The can opener needs replacing, just blunt that's all. Also there was no iron, Not that I personally needed one but for those who may want to know.
Summary: Already thinking of when I can return.

Positive: Beautiful location and the cabin had everything we needed. The hostess was very responsive.
Negative: The property was a higher price than other comparable ones we have stayed in for the past couple of weeks. This may have been due to booking at the last minute. Everything else was perfect!
