Positive: The view and location and food on arrival were excellent. Michael was easily accessible and helpful. The apartment was spacious and big enough for the 5 adults. We had a great week.
Negative: It would have been nice to have a few comfy chairs for sitting in the evening. We didn’t know there were 3 apartments using the pool, but it worked mostly ok.
Summary: Stunning view, spacious apartment and great host.

Positive: Fantastic view, nice pool with as striking a view, superb care package from the host at arrival and a lot of space to enjoy. Perfect for striking sunset landscapes and a great starting position to explore West Crete. Quite and with friendly cats! Well equipped kitchen and a lot of books, DVDs, and even PS2 games.
Negative: Bed in main bedroom could be more comfortable

Positive: Delightful welcome by Michalis, with full tour of the apartment and pool. Also nice little welcome pack in the fridge to cover first breakfasts etc. Lovely setting with great views. Generous towels and the like provisions. Spacious apartment, well equipped.
Negative: It's not so much we didn't like, just as some others, we did find the beds a bit hard, but did get used to them. We also found the sofa in the living hard and not very comfortable.

Positive: Everything is very good. They had the best welcoming gift (with water, chocolate, wine, milk, yogurts and other stuff) which was very helpful. Good starting point location to travel to the Chania area, the views are very nice both to the sea and to the mountains,very comfortable apartment, the kitchen has everything you need with multiple coffee machines, the mattresses are ok, it's clean, it has a very nice veranda and the swimming pool is a good size. You must have a car because it's completely isolated and within 5-7 minutes drive to the nearest village or to the main road.
Negative: If you didn't understand from the name or from the photos then note that this is an apartment and not a maisonette. There is only one bathroom with not enough counter space. The bathroom (and the bedrooms) do not have a key so you can't lock the doors. There was only one pillow per person and I could use another one, as the one I had was not that comfortable. The swimming pool area does not have shade at all, and there are no umbrellas or anything.
Summary: Good location, nice views, clean and comfortable.

Positive: The apartment was a great size, we travelled as a group of 4 (2 couples) and found the size and setup perfect (2 bathrooms would've been amazing but it didn't matter). Location and views were perfect too, however, you will need a car to get there (parking available too). Amazing host, we had a basket of treats waiting for us on the first day and he's even done some food shopping for us. As a frequent traveller, I can say that this is quite rare and we loved the surprise. The football table was a nice addition, and the BBQ too. Would definitely return and probably will soon!
